Dasch-Deli Cleaver Knife

I'd say a light duty knife for maybe chopping veggies. The handle on the unit I received seems flimsy, not like the older, sturdier one I have (which chipped ): ) that could chop through bone. I am actually pretty sure one may be able to with this blade as well, but I wouldn't trust the flimsy handle on a good, hard CHOP, if you know what I mean. My old one cut through frozen 2 inch steaks without hardly a vibration- this one vibrates when I pick it up, I think the bottom rivet is crooked. Either way, if you want high durable quality, don't be a cheap skate like me... Celery or lettuce, though, ain't got a chance with this bad boy...

I was wrong, and now is one of my favorite knife in my kitchen. Handle is thin and knife pretty lightweight, this proofs me that don't go by the looks. I tried it with meat and right away cut throght light nothing was there so smooth and perfect cut. Is a heavy chopper/claver/butcher knife is made from 100% of stainless steal. Size for this cleaver knife 7 inch,Knife cuts easily through large pieces of food. 3CR13 glad, Thickness 3.0mm heavy duty. Also the blade is constructed of superior quality high carbon stainless steel. Easy for care knife is dishwasher safe. A cleaver knife. This is a nice one and it is well made. It cuts everything that you use it for like you are cutting butter. In my review pictures, I used it to cut a cantelope. Usually it is hard to cut thru them, but I used the cleaver knife on this and it was really like cutting butter. I did not have to use any force at all. I put the knife on the cantelope and then I barely put pressure on the knife and the knife slid right through the cantelope. The knife is really well made, the handle is really thick and well attached to the blade. The blade is 7" wide and made of stainless steel. The knife itself is very lightweight and it is easy to hold. The care of the knife is really simple as well.
