Wire Stripping Tool with Self-adjusting Jaws, 10-24 Gauge

Got this tool yesterday and used it this morning. It is the best stripper I've ever owned and I worked for over 10 years as an electrician. I installed some landscape lighting using 14-2 UF wire. The really great thing about this stripper is that it will strip both wires at the same time. Don't split the wire, make sure the end is cut evenly, place the whole wire in the stripper and squeeze the handles. Both wires stripped with little effort. I highly recommend this stripper..

It works very well, but the wire cutter hardly works at all.

Great tool, easy to use and it works! I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. While the tool did not come with instructions, I found a youtube video in about 10 seconds, and received a lengthy email the next morning from the seller with full instructions. Great purchase.

Cheap, Hard to close, Only strips half of the wire (when it works) mostly doesn't work. Highly disappointed. Will return for full refund.

I bought this to strip CAT5e cables and it will strip the outer sealth but doesn't work for the individual wires even though it says it would work for both.

So I ordered these for my home theater project and knew when I bought them they would be overkill. Finally got them out and tried to figure out (no instructions) so I saw the tiny gold screw, the little yellow ruler thingy that pulled out??!! I put the wire in between the handles?? No,that's not it. Getting on Amazon I saw the 'self adjusting' feature and a bell went off. Voila! These are AWESOME and will make my project much easier. Thanks

Gets the job done.The only down side is that certain cables won't strip on the first try. I would not recommend them for Cat5e cables since these tend to slip while trying to strip that outer blue jacket and sometimes the jaws damage the inner wire jacket. For Cat5e, just get one of those cable stripper/cutter that you spin around the cable to cut the outer jacket.
