Wish I'd gone with the smaller blade.
This is a beautiful knife. Great grip, excellent blade shape, etc. However, I wish I had bought one of the smaller blades. There is no choil, or quillion. What I've found is that the blade is simply too long to have a good balanced grip while trying to do detail work and maintain a safe grip. I constantly feel like im going to slide my finger to the cutting edge . I'm going to buy a smaller version, no doubt. When I hold this knife, I absolutely love it. It just doesn't meet my needs for a blade.

First the good: The ergonomics of the handle and the blade ...
Since there is not a lot of information on this knife available yet, I wanted to give my first impression. First the good: The ergonomics of the handle and the blade shape are fantastic. It feels very natural in the hand and has ample space for gripping. The texture is like a hard rubber or soft plastic - it feels durable and comfortable. The knife is well balanced. The lanyard hole looks quality and the exposed tang gives the knife a solid feel. The sheath is fantastic. It is heavy gauge leather and there is no play when the knife is seated in the sheath. There is a drainage hole on the front side that does not extend through the back. This is a hanging style sheath which is different than most sheaths for this size/style knife. Now the bad: the edge grind angle is off. On one side the edge is deeper than the other, and is unevenly ground at the belly of the blade on one side. Secondly, the knife arrived dull. I have collected a number of comparable sized knives from Cold Steel, Ka-Bar, Ontario, Buck, etc. and they have all arrived razor sharp. This knife was not even close. The first two inches were sharp, but not overly so, and would cut paper with some difficulty. Beyond the first two inches, it would not cut at all. I could wrap my hand around the blade and apply pressure and it felt like holding a dinner knife. The quality control on this knife needs a lot of work to justify the price of a lower steel grade, Chinese made knife. Had they gotten the blade angle right, and had the knife arrived sharp, my first impression would be that this is an outstanding knife. Steel Will, you have got some work to do to be a major player.I'm going to try and sharpen the knife and may try to correct the edge and see how the knife performs in terms of sharpening and durability in the woods, but since this is a new purchase I have not formed an opinion yet. In its present state, the knife looks great, but borders on unusable until it is much much sharper. If I can sharpen it, I'll follow up on whether there are hot spots, sheath carry, durability, etc.

Best Buy for Your Money
Upon opening the package you will notice the quality of the work in the knife. Makes all the normal bushcraft cuts you would want. A little light for chopping but could be done. The handle feels good in the hand it fills up your grip. The sheath is very nice (dangler) which saves you money from having to upgrade. Overall this knife is a good buy for your money, would recommend to anyone.

average quality for the price
Nice knife and quality leather sheath. After a little light batoning the over molded handle seems to be developing some movement and a firesteel loop on the sheath would have been nice. Also the brass lanyard tube came out when inserting a paracord lanyard.

this knife is a great buy, particularly for anyone who can correctly sharpen ...
I fully agree with the previous review concerning sharpness. The sabre grind is well-done, yet the micro bevels are not equal??? One is right on the mark. The other is shy. Consequently the knife arrived fairly sharp, but not as sharp as it should be. Yes, disappointing. Nevertheless, this knife is a great buy, particularly for anyone who can correctly sharpen a knife. Excellent grip, excellent sheath, good stainless blade for less than the cost of a decent folding pocket knife.
