This is my second feeder like this. Fun to watch different finny creatures eat from this. Made with quality parts and has has not shown any signs of rust.

Bought this to give my large pleco some treats in the form of veggies. I've been unhappy with the suction cup style and clips and this thing is just what I was looking for!Keeps it in place on the side of the tank, right where he likes to eat it. Stays in place, easy to use, easy to put in and remove from tank. All in all, very happy.

My bristlenose pleco and SAEs love veggies, but feeding large pieces of cucumber, zucchini, or other veggies was nearly impossible with standard veggie clips. This pleco feeder holds everything securely, so everyone can happily feed at once. And the hanging design means I can place the food in the mid level of the tank, and retrieve any leftovers without putting my hand in the water.I ordered the small for my 40 gallon, so the screw portion is 8-10 inches above the substrate. If your plecos prefer feeding close to the bottom (mine doesn't), the large would be a better option.

I placed it into the tank with a chunk of zucchini and he was on the food within seconds. He did not even bother "sneaking" up to it. Just BOOM!! Right in front of me.The Pleco Feeder has been the BEST ITEM I have purchased for my fish tank out of the last $150.00 I have spent here on Amazon for my fish. No joke.If you have a pleco or plecos this is a must have! It is easy to clean and easy for your fish to access their food. You will also have a cleaner fish tank. I wish I had bought this the first time I saw this.

I have 2 BN plecos, one in a 40g breeder and another in a 29g. I bought the small pleco feeder for the 40g breeder and the large feeder for the 29g. They work perfectly and make it so easy to provide fresh zucchini to my plecos. And the mystery snails and goldfish benefit, too!

As many other reviewers also said, it's a tad expensive, but it's fantastic. Well made and makes feeding ottos (with zuccinis, cucumbers etc...) way much easier.

I use the Pleco feeder to feed discus freeze dried blackworm cubes and repashy gel food. The small feeder holds the food mid-column of a 24" tall tank. It is great for anchoring these larger food items and can be used for much more than just plecos and vegetables.
