These vials arrive in a box, tightly packed in a foam block. This keeps the vials from being scratched and damaged during transit. The product came well packaged and nothing was damaged or broken. The opening to the bottles are about the size of a nickel. Making it big enough to place small items into the jar with ease. The glass appears to be thick enough to freeze without breaking. I will try that next. Did not leak when I did the water test. I am using the bottles for storing seeds. Also for adding spices for traveling. I am trying to avoid using plastic.

The bottles seal tight with little effort. They come in a string box with individual pockets in supportive foam. Just what we needed.
