None of the reamers that came with mine fit through a 7mm tube am i doing something wrong or is the set i got messed up?

The reamers are made to clean out the tubes and make them true round. it cleans the glue and trues the tubes so things work correctly. if the one you have are to big they will tear out the tube. that is how I checked mine is to place a tube on the end of the reamer and check the fit.

What is the 0 barrel adapter used for?

THe 0 size sleeve is for a blank that doesn't have a brass tube in it already to stop the bit from wandering.

What does the pen mill get attached to with the set screw?

The cutting head slides down the cutting shaft that matches the inside of the Pen Barrel that you are using and then both pieces are attached to your drill chuck.
