Very useful and well thought out
As advertised - a simple guide and that is exactly what I wanted. Itโs small enough to fit in a jacket pocket. Well organised sections contain good tips for differentiating similar looking birds. The illustrations are colourful and pleasing to the eye. Would highly recommend this to novices and near-novices.

Beautifully illustrated and informative book
I bought this for 2 little boys who are developing a strong interest in wildlife add conservation. The elder boy has ADHD so this book is perfect for him as it is beautifully illustrated and not overcrowded with text. It rally helped keep these two lively lads occupied whilst self isolating with covid 19. It gave their poor mum a break while she was really poorly. The effect is spreading as these boys are drawing the other children in the street into their interest in wildlife. I thoroughly recommend this book for children as well as adults who work well with visual stimulation.
