Worked well for me - Marine battery/power terminals 2, 4, 6, 8 AWG
Hey it is not a $300 to $1500 professional tool. And yes it has metric not AWG dies (welcome to the global market). But it worked very well for my boat overhaul, I crimped over 15 2AWG, 10 4AWG, 15 6AWG and at least 20 8AWG terminals without problem. And it is ready for future projects.1. Be careful, take your time and it works.2. Hand held crimp tools can be a little awkward. I found it easy to start the press until it was firmly holding the lug.3. Then inserted the pre-trimmed wire, with heat shrink pre-cut and slipped over the wire.4. Crimp firmly but stop when the dies touch. Over pumping will just risk blowing out the seals.5. If you start to get "wings" squeezing out between the dies near the end of the crimp, stop. This is common to many crimp dies and soft lugs. Once you have wings you're not going to get a tight crimp by just pumping harder.6. Release a little. Rotate the lug 90 degrees and press again to flatten the wings and finish with a tight crimp.Check the C clamp head occasionally to be sure it doesn't unscrew from the body and you should not have any leaks or problems. With a little bit of care I got very good results at a fraction of the cost of custom ordered cables or a more expensive tool.

Solid crimps, need a 3rd hand
I think this I a great value for the money. Not the easiest thing to use if you are a standard human model with 2 hands. I found myself awkwardly pinning it against my gut to keep the terminators and wiring in the best orientation. Iโm using welding wire and tinned copper ring connections to make battery banks. Use a workbench or table to rest the crimper and the cable on. Or just jam it into your stomach while bending awkwardly. Either way, add a little bit of self-adhesive, heat shrink tubing and youโll get pretty, solid and professional crimps.

dies are rubbish
Dies are wrong size.Using Ocean Flex marine cable and lugs from 12voltplanet I find 50mm2 dies on 50mm2 lugs pull out. Need to use one 50mm2 and one 35mm2 to get something that is a solid crimp.Tried two 35mm2 with 50mm2 lugs and then get wings sticking out on lug. Looks rubbish. Likely over crimped with this option. The tool is ok but the dies are not the correct size for metric cable and lugs.
