A one stop shop for the poetry one wishes to go back to, time and time again! Wonderful collection...perfect company for any reader or poetry lover.

This anthology of the classic one hundred poems, edited by William Harmon, will be treasured by those of us who love poetry and by those who want to learn how to enjoy and appreciate great poetry. Personally, I prefer poetryanthologies because I do not like having to wade through thirty poems by one author just to find the few from that poet, which I really like. "The Classic Hundred" ranks right up there with "The Poet's Corner", edited by John Lithgow, [ASIN:B0029LHWTU The Poets' Corner: The One-and-Only Poetry Book for the Whole Family]]. Hope you enjoy it.

Given as a gift but well received by the recipient.

I bought this book because I bought the audio version on iTunes but didn't have the written poems in front of me. Together, they make a nice set. If you like the book, I would highly recommend buying the audio version. The only thing I don't like about it is that the audio version lumps thirty poems or more into one track, so that it makes it difficult to skip to individual poems. But overall, the readings are good. These certainly are the classics.
