I am a full-time RV-er and I have a solar auxiliary power system that powers everything when I am off grid. Because of this I replaced all of the incandescent bulbs in my RV with LEDs. The LEDs consume about 1/10th the power of incandescents while producing the same amount of light. LEDs also emit far less heat. Much of the wasted energy of incandescent bulbs is converted to heat.I have tried a number of LED manufacturers. Some manufacturer's bulbs began failing almost as soon as they were installed. I have found that the low price bulbs are of universally poor quality. It pays to purchase a more expensive bulb. I have been running many of my LEDs for years, some of them up to 8 hours every day, and they are still burning.This bulb by Brightech is a quality LED light. It puts out an abundance of light and has thus far been very durable. I have been running it for a little more than a month, and in my experience most of the cheap bulbs would have begun failing before a month's time was out. The seller also shipped the bulbs quickly. Good service. Good product.

As another reviewer, I purchased these to replace the incandescent bulbs in my Fleetwood RV. And, as the other reviewer noted, the cool white color is a departure from the warm white of incandescent bulbs. Having repeated all of that, however, I will say these bulbs do what they say and are an excellent value, especially at the introductory price. All bulbs lit up without a problem. All bulbs produce precisely the same amount of light and all look to be of superb construction. The power savings they provide alone is worth the cost, and as the other reviewer said, if BrightChoice sells a warm white version on Amazon, I too will be back to purchase some of those.Pros:Light output comparable to standard incandescent (for interior lighting) - slightly less but not very noticeable after a dayQuality construction - all bulbs same color, outputCons:Not a con really if you like cool white light, but a warmer tone would have suited my purposes better.In a nutshell, if you like the warm white of incandescent bulbs then these are not for you. If, however, you like the cooler white of fluorescent bulbs, then these might suit you just fine.

I had to trim a portion of the white circuit board portion of the light away (lower portion next to the aluminum socket) with a dremel tool to make it fit into the spring loaded lamp socket on my vehicle. after it fits, it works great in my 1985 toyota 4runner.However, the "fast-blink" mode which lets you know you have a burnt out bulb is always in effect now. this is due to the circuit not receiving the usual voltage feedback to let it know that the regular incandesent light is working. nonetheless, it works great and is very bright.i will update if these ever fail...

THE LIGHT RANGE IS WHITE/BLUEISH WHICH MAKE YOU DIZZY AND STARTS HEADACHE. WE REPLACED ALL WITH OLD BULBS AND THEY ARE JUST SITTING THERE IN JUNK DRAWER. THE LIGHT NEEDS TO BE LIKE INCANDESCENT, SAY MORE CLOSER TO 2500 ANGSTROMS?, SO IT IS SOFT YELLOW LIGHT EQUAL TO INCANDESCENT LIGHT! BE VERY CAREFUL,JUST BUY ONE BULB AND SEE IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH THE WHITE BLUEISH LIGHT. I RECOMMEND THEY MAKE THESE IN INCANDESCENT RANGE, THEN I WILL RETRY ONE FIRST!

I bought two of these bulbs to replace GE 307's in a 28v airplane. It is a very bright bulb, however, one failed after just over an hour in use, the other is still working as of this review.

By itself I'm not excited about the color . The brightness is decent . But when used as a companion light to a warm white I like the result . Low power consumption is a great plus . Seems so far to be well made .

I own a class B RV (PleasureWay) , I Increasingly camp in situations where I rely on battery power and not shore power.To do this effectively, It is necessary to do an inventory on the power usage of the various appliances and decide which are most essential and what is the power consumption of each. If lights are used extensively, you need to budget 20 amp hours for lights, which is a substantial chunk of the available power (40 Amp hours per battery). This device cuts that budget from 20 Amp hours to 2 amp hours. In addition, I find the light to be both Brighter and better for reading than the automotive tail lamps which are standard issue. Fits in the existing fixture-whats not to like.

I was trying to reduce the battery charge consumption in my RV by replacing the halogen and incandescent bulbs with the more energy-wise LEDs. I chose this product for the ceiling lights and porch light because it met the specifications that I needed. When I got them, they looked well-made and were easy to install just like the original product. The brightness is what I would expect and the Kelvin characteristic is just what I prefer being closer to day light. So far for the almost two weeks that I'm using it, I'm completely satisfied with the performance and I would highly recommend it.
