Worked good on my mowing deck
For the past several years I have been using VanSickle EZ-Slide on my mowing deck to keep the steel corrosion in check and aid with keeping grass from building up. This year I couldn’t find EZ-Slide anywhere convenient to buy and found the Slip Plate available on Amazon. Slip Plate this quite a bit thicker and it appears to have a much higher percentage of graphite. It goes on easy and dries fairly quick. The final surface appears to be very slick. Much of the solids are settled when you receive the can, but careful stirring will result in a consistent paintable product in a few minutes. Thus far I am very pleased with the results. I’m glad I found this as the graphite lubricant and coating is a very important part of my mower maintenance program.

Works Great!
Works great for the underside of my riding lawn mower to keep it from building up grass clippings on the bottom. Nice and slick. Used it for one season so far and is staying in good shape. Same it’s the auger area on my snow blower. Keeps the snow from building up. I only used about half of a pint on two riding lawn mowers and two snow blowers. So you get a good amount for the money.

Very thick- hoping for lasting protection
Applies easy- must stir thoroughly- very thick contents. Applied to new lawnmower and snowblower. Time will tell if works as told on YouTube

This SLIP Plate No. 1 product DID NOT work for me
I used this product on a brand new, never used lawn mower. I followed the mfgr. instructions paying careful attention to pre-clean the underside of the mower deck before applying this "paint". After letting it "cure" for over 1 week, and lightly hand-buffing the painted areas, I mowed a ( dry ) patch of my lawn, for about 1/2 hour. Afterwards, upon inspecting the treated mower deck, I was more than a little shocked to find that more than 75% of the previously treated deck was naked down to the original red-paint.Considering the $41.00 expense, my time invested, etc., and the fact that this product failed after following the directions, I will not recommend it, at least as a treatment for mower decks, and consider this product a complete failure in my own experience and in my particular application.

Seems to keep grass from sticking under mower deck
It must be stirred thoroughly. It ends up being about the same consistency as a decent latex house paint.Goes on thick. Takes hours to dry. When using the wash port on my riding mower deck, it seems to come very clean.I cannot review durability yet.

Not a good undercoat for mower deck.
I contacted the manufacturer regarding its use as a non-stick coating for my riding mower deck. I was told if used as directed, it should give good results. I did so, but after some use, I removed the deck to clean it, and it was as packed in as before. Also, bare metal was showing in places where I had applied 2 coats. It seems to be a good product, but this is not a good application for it.
