Garment Bag - Travel Bag

I used this once, to protect and carry a suit coat to a meeting across town, in my car. The plastic fabric of this product seems to me to be as thin and fragile as tissue paper. By the time I got the suit out of the bag, the bag had 2 sizable tears, the stitching had come loose, and the zipper had come off the rails. While I think there's a place for inexpensive products, this one is so cheaply made I cannot imagine any use for it except possibly for very careful storage. It is not fit as a "travel" bag.
