This book is pretty thorough. It has information and how to on just about everything! It's a nice resource. I've recommend it to people in my friend group as well.

Not so much repair, more improvement, in my opinion
I wish I'd done a deeper dive into this book before buying. I wanted a book to help me with basic home repairs as I was a first time home buyer. Unfortunately this book skews more towards home improvement projects than helping you fix a leaky faucet. I'm unlikely to dig a trench to lay pipe, I just wanted to fix a plug etc! I guess that is on me for not really researching it but I was disappointed that there wasn't a better balance

I’m home renovating. At least I thought I was. Now realise I’m out of my depth and don’t own home builders equipment and tools. That’s not the books fault
