Household Essential Pressing Pad

I totally screwed up my iron burning black poly-something on the heat plate. The iron is shot but I needed to iron a shirt immediately. I covered my top with the pressing pad, figuring I would need to replace it as well. But DID NOT STICK to the pad.I have also used this with silk and a synthetic top that needs high heat but burns on my iron - always no issues.If I had my coffee before ironing, I would have used it with the black poly- something and saved the money I need to use on a new iron:/If I could give it six stars I would - oh, it is also pretty large for a pressing pad.

This is a great product. I cannot believe I just found this ! I used to use towels over my clothes or something, but this is wonderful. You can now iron those difficult fabrics and the iron never touches the fabric. I put this over my rayon type sport shirts, put my iron on steam, and then run the iron over the top of this. Voila ! I have a nicely ironed shirt that cannot take the sole plate of a hot iron. Wonderful tool, and will buy another one to include in my suitcase for trips.

I got this to iron some silk ties. I'm not sure if this worked. Maybe the iron sucks. It's basically a mesh sheet that is supposed to protect the silk. I ended up getting the ties pressed. As far as I can tell, the quality was good. I was probably using it incorrectly.

Works good, only to stiff while new , I think it needs washed a few time. Sure helps to keep shine off clothes when ironing

I CAN'T RAVE ABOUT THIS ENOUGH. I bought one from WalMart years ago and was so disappointed when they discontinued it. I am a wardrobe stylist and wouldn't iron without it. I do catalog work and have to iron hundreds of silk screened t-shirts. I used to have to iron over brown packing paper sheets! Couldn't see beneath it to get the factory wrinkles out of the cotton. Now I've used this for years and NEVER have a problem. WORKS FABULOUSLY AND NEVER CREATES A SHEEN ON DRESS SLACKS at the hottest setting.

I needed a new ironing pad and cover (which I bought made by Ritz through Amazon) and I bought this pressing pad because I also have a new Rowenda iron which is much more powerful and hot than my old iron. This little add on product gave me enough purchase to get free shipping, so it was well worth it. I will use it for ironing my delicate items. I never had one before but it's a great idea.

Perfect for the top of the washer or table for those quick ironing times where you don't want to spot or singe the item. Easy to store and works well.

Great product, hard to find something like this in stores for some reason. Like that you can see through the mesh to see where you are ironing. be careful though that you can accidentally melt it if your iron is too hot and you leave it in one spot too long.

Initially it melted in a couple spots. Shocked! My iron wasn't even on high and there's no instruction as to use or maximum heat etc. Second time using, my iron spit out water so I rinsed it out immediately and the garment (again no instructions), let it air dry and it wouldn't clean up and became flimsy. The garment was fine! Third use-It now tugs on my very expensive iron. Disappointed. Will purchase a different brand or stick with my linen pressing cloth which I'm back using with no issues.

Super Happy with this product as I was a bit sceptical of it when I purchased it . I can iron face up with the iron on prints showing and this on top with no problem. I can iron LuLu leggings without any problem as my steamer just does not get the wrinkles out after my washer wrings them out. I am using it all the time and it makes me enjoy ironing even more.

Love this item. Protects the clothing from markings and shine when ironing. So much better than using a cloth since you can see what your are ironing. So affordable too!
