If you already have a Blink Sync Module 2 plugged in at home, all you need is this USB storage to make local recording work. That’s it. No subscription required. The only real difference with the paid plan is a slightly faster live view, and honestly, the difference is very minimal. It’s not worth paying monthly for something that barely feels different in everyday use. With this USB: • You get local storage • Enough space for weeks to about a month of recordings (depending on usage) • You can easily delete old clips and start fresh • No recurring fees, ever Another bonus I noticed: My Blink camera runs on AA batteries, and battery life seems better now without the active subscription running in the background. Best way to save money without a subscription.Just plug it in, download the app.And you will have free service backs up for several days or you can set it to delete after one or three days.I have mind set for 7days

Purchased this awhile back and never got it to work. It's for sync module 2 but it said the usb drive is not compatible or I got a bad one. Update: Working after reformatting it.

Connectivity, quality

Died after 3 years. Not durable. Flash drive is easy to insert into the usb port, but good luck removing it, as there is only a small portion of it to grab onto.
