Hot Lather Machine for Shaving (Black)

I love this machine. I am a professional barber from Virginia and was leery of buying it because of no reviews but I took a chance because it is very attractive and smaller than the big ones from back in the day. Also it matches our shop decor. I was worried the lather would be lukewarm and not hot but that's not the case. The lather is good and hot but it doesn't burn. Perfect temp for shaves. I'm so glad I bought this and highly recommend it.Edit 10/22/2021: I just wanted to hop on here and say that I’ve had this lather machine for 10 months now and it works great. We are still using it in the barber shop. I still recommend it.

Well at first the motor sounded loud and like it has been exhausted from use. I received March 7. I noticed a change in the heating capability a month later exactly . However Being a Barber of 20 years, I had to get through the holidays with my half broken machine. Now it’s literally not even heating up. It was doable for a month, now all my clients make comments about how cold the foam is. The plate inside is defective . Contacted the seller they told me I needed to change shaving creams. Not true ! What is true is that the heating plate mechanisms are not working properly. The cream does not matter in this case since it’s basically soap the brand of soap does not effect the temperature the machine is able to get to. Amazon is sending a replacement. But a little recommendation to all, this is not worth the money, yes it’s “nice looking” but not so nice when your clients have a problems cause you have cold shaving cream on their face trying to straight razor them. There are definitely better machine for what this costs..... will update when second machine some on Saturday .

IM OUT $140!!! Its been two months since beginning to use in my new barbershop. It was perfect until yesterday. I used it once and it started smoking like crazy making an odd sound and smelled like fire. I immediately unplugged in and let it sit until the end of my work day. I then emptied the lather and cleaned the machine with the recommended machine cleaner. When i turned it back on, the machine started to smoke again, smelling the same way and i immediately unplugged again. I made sure all the pieces were clear from lather and tried it one more time. this time it wouldnt shut off, still smoking, still smells like fire. I sent a message to the seller and they basically told me they wouldnt do anything because they sent it to me in working condition and that their machines go through high testing and that it was fine. I contacted amazon and they told me to contact the seller. Now i am out the $140 in a very busy barbershop having to do the old fashioned coffee cup cold lather. This is absolutely ridiculous.OLD POST-I just opened my own barber shop and wanted this machine to match the rest of my equipment. I wanted weeks before I could get it and hesitated buying it due to reviews. Knock on wood (seriously don't want to jynx myself) this thing has been amazing. The first use everyday is very very hot but the rest of the day is perfect temp. I use it with Campbell's premixed shaving cream and I love it. If this one dies, I'll probably just buy another one. It's exactly what I need and wanted.

It Works great. Just a dab of shave soap and fill 3/4 with hot water. Hot lather in about 5 min every time.Don’t be discouraged if at first it spits out hot soapy water. It did this when just turning on, but it quickly stopped and became lather after. The temp is nice and hot too. I’ve been a barber for about 7 years, and used lather king, lather time, and a few others, but this one has worked consistently where as the others were always spotty and the heat was never this good.

I’m a barber and I needed a new lather machine for my shop and proceeded to buy this lather machine and the first go around the machine lasted about ten days before a part of the machine called a washer a circle came out from the dispenser.I went ahead and asked for an exchange and got another machine and get this, it didn’t even work at all and after leaving it plugged in for over 4 hours with the lather mix in it was literally dispensing water so I decided enough is enough and I’m just going to stick with using xotics shaving lotion

In use for approximately one month and already DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY!Leaks profusely.Would appreciate product replacement or refund.Just missed the return window at Amazon or product would definitely have been returned!

Heats up fast makes thick consistent lather I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now w no problems or complaints. I break down and clean every day I use it and I also try to use only filtered water in mine. does not come w shave lather you will need to buy shave concentrate for it

The moment I took it out of the box I plugged it in and it blew a fuse tried a different Outlet same thing blew a fuse tried a different Outlet same thing blew a fuse all this stuff comes from China it had some bad reviews but I took a chance I returned it... They're going to send me another one... The bummer is I had to spend $11 on shipping cuz I don't have a UPS store around I'll keep in touch when I get my new one
