The Ultimate Guide to Machine Quilting: Long-arm and Sit-down - Learn When, Where, Why, and How to Finish Your Quilts

I originally borrowed this book from our local library. I like both Christa Hanson’s and Angela Walter’s style. There are excellent tips throughout the book. I don’t have a long-arm but there is still good information for me to use with quilting on my sewing machine. They bummer is that this book is so hard to purchase due to limited print that I’m very grateful I was finally able to buy a used copy. Happy to add this book to my library.

I am a confident beginning free motion quilter. This book explains why some people quilt with a long arm and some quilt with a domestic machine. Both have their plusses and minuses and those are clearly discussed in this book. The illustrations and directions are very clear. It's a good addition to my free motion library.

This book is full of ideas and patterns for quilters of all experience. The steps are clear and easy to follow. It explains free motion and ruler quilting.

Another excellent reference book that covers long-arm and regular sewing machine quilting. It is an excellent book to help someone who is unsure of which way to go, as a long-arm is a huge investment. It impressed me with the choices available and emphasizes that quilting can be done with both machines, with good results.

THIS WAS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE WHO JUST PURCHASED A MIDARM AND SHE IS VERY HAPPY WITH CONTENTS OF THIS BOOK.

Well organized. Easy to read in chunks. Motivates me to create. One night I accidentally found Angela's blog and realized she was one of the authors. Now I've been alternating from reading the book, watching her videos and can't wait to make a road trip to her shop.

pour les personnes qui ne sont pas des pros du matelassage, ce guide est particulièrement intéressant car on s'aperçoit qu'on ne peut pas forcément faire le même type de motifs à la long arm ou à la machine à coudre (hé oui!)Ainsi les 2 auteures présentent à partir de quilts identiques leurs choix respectifs pour les réaliser .les patrons des quilts sont intégrés au livre. ils sont de style moderne et donnent l'envie de faire tous les travaux pratiques de matelassage.le livre est en anglais

Angela is such a great teacher and her book is great.
