A good buy!
Love these splatter guards for microwave heating. Keeps the microwave clean and retains heat in the container. Multiple sizes are great!

Suction Releases During Microwaving
These are great for covering storage containers. The seal suffices, but it is not tight. I found that the seal had vanished by the end of a session in the microwave, but that could be a good thing, as a loose cover allows steam to release while still preventing spatters. I was able to get good suction from the same covers after they had cooled off. All in all, the set is a useful product, I wish the covers could be ordered by size. I think it will be fairly easy, however, to cut the too-large ones in the set down to the sizes I need.

Best thing I’ve bought in a while!
I love Tupperware bowls, but sometimes the lids are prone to wear and tear. So eventually I wind up with a bunch of Tupperware bowls and bottoms, and a bunch of broken lids that I have to throw away. But I don’t have the heart to throw the bowls and bottoms away, because they’re still perfectly useable. But using Saran Wrap to cover the Tupperware in place of a lid is expensive and not great for the environment. What to do, what to do.Thank goodness for these lids! They fit over all of my old Tupperware and keep my food fresh in the fridge. Round, square, rectangle, as long as the lid fits over the entire Tupperware, it seals it perfectly. I even use these lids to cover my regular bowls and seal them when I want to save food for the next day, instead of transferring it to Tupperware. Saves me time, money, and extra dishes to wash.My favorite use for these lids is to cover bowls of popcorn when watching movies. I’ll eat a bunch of popcorn, cover it, eat, cover, repeat. The popcorn doesn’t get stale at all from air or moisture. A few times I’ve watched movies and fallen asleep, left the lid sealed on the popcorn bowl overnight, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the popcorn was still edible and not really soggy or stale the next day. This also works when putting chips/Chex Mix/pork rinds in bowls and using these covers to keep them fresh and from going stale (on those occasions you can’t find a chip clip to seal your snack bag).10/10 recommend.I’m not sure if they’re dishwasher safe, but they are very easy to hand wash and are soft, yet seem to be made from material that will last a while. I haven’t cooked or heated anything up with these, so I can’t comment on that. So far I mainly use them to replace lost and broken Tupperware lids, to turn my bowls into Tupperware, and to keep my snacks from going stale.

Great! Better than expected.
I got these bc my glass bakeware lids ripped. Grrr. Replacing just the lids cost more than a new set. These are various sizes and work better than expected. They really fit for the leftovers in the fridge.I also use a small one on my drink glass (we live on a farm so ... creatures). They are also snug and airtight so you can actually pick up the lid and the (empty) bowl with it.Can be thrown in the dishwasher, but I usually just wash it off.

Work well for the price
I like the different sizes of the set to work with different diameters of pots and pans, plates and bowls (for microwaving). They are easy to clean and dry quickly, easy to store using the loop hole. No more plastic wrapping or messy microwave.

Not the best quality
This is a second set, but by a different manufacturer...big mistake on my part. These aren't as heavy and a few of the smaller ones didn't have the hanger holes fully punched out, so when I removed the fill, the whole thing ripped open...tossed it because I hang them up and it is worthless to me now. I wouldn't buy these again, that's for sure.

What a Surprise
After reading reviews on these lids, I decided to give them a try. I thought that a silicone lid would somehow melt when in contact with a hot pot or fry pan. Nope. I pan fried some steak and used a silicone lid for a pan cover so as not to get grease on the stove top. What a surprise...the lid held up perfectly. The lid did get hot, and it really suctions, so be careful when uncovering a hot pan...just lift it gently from the side. Other than that, it held its shape, washed well, and still suctions! I think the little "tab" that replaces a larger knob for lifting the cover is a safety feature...so people know not to lift the suctioned bowl, pot or hot pan, which in turn prevents accidents from occurring...the lids are meant to suction, keep insects out, keep food fresher longer...that's what I think anyway, and it works. I use certain colors to cover the leftover cat food, and certain ones for human food. Although, after washing, I don't think it would be an issue, I just prefer to keep them separate. The lids are very flexible, so the larger ones take a little maneuvering to wash them, but not a big deal. This product is ingenious and I see it replacing broken pot/pan lids, and saran wrap in the future, but I need to do more research on the effect it has on the environment. For example, at the end of its useful life, will it be detrimental to the environment when thrown away? Will it decompose? Hopefully some other reviewer will be able to answer this.
