I love these bath bomb molds! Why? Because the quality can't be beat! You don't need any more molds than these to make your DIY bath bombs. They are stainless steel ( never use metal) and hold up much better than the plastic ones. Believe me, I've bought both kinds, and the stainless steel ones are the way to go. You get your ingredients together, and follow the instructions to your bath bomb recipe to the letter. Bath bombs seem easy to make, but do require patience, and exact, precise amounts of the required ingredients in order to turn out perfect fizzy bombs. The trick is adding drop by drop liquids, as you can always add more liquids, but too much will cause your both bombs to start fizz ingredients and go flat. Hang in there, it takes a few times to get right, but it's well worth it. They (the bath bombs)make a great gift for birthdays, holidays, or to sell at craft fairs, etc.These molds are only the way to go, and use them over and over for years to come.

The molds came exactly as described, even with the little flowers. They are heavy duty and I feel that they will last quite a while. I could not find the recipes that were sent via email and they resent them to me immediately I would recommend this product and sender.

Bath bombs pop right out of these. Just wish they had them in a smaller size also. They don't dent if you do have to "peck" just a tad to get the bombs out of the mold. Just bought another set. :)

stainless steel is the way to go however this 2.56 is the outter measurements, not the size the bath bomb will be. much smaller than average bomb in width and height .

I received a set of two complete molds (four halves) this past week. They came quickly and were packaged beautifully. In fact, packaged beautifully enough to give them as a gift if you wanted to. I went straight to work making bath bombs using a recipe I found on the internet. These molds are perfect because you can be working on your second bath bomb while your first one is drying. No down time!! The molds wash up easily (hand wash or throw them n the dishwasher) and store quickly back into the original box they came in. It is a lot of fun making bath bombs with these well-made and sturdy molds. I was able to purchase this set of bath bomb molds at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. Here is the recipe I found in case you need it....Mix together the following wet ingredients in a color safe bowl (in case you use food coloring):3 tsp of coconut oil (or shea butter, olive oil, etc..)2 tsp of any essential oil (lavender, vanilla, lemongrass etc..)1 tsp of waterIn a separate bowl mix the following dry ingredients together:1 cup of baking soda1/2 cup citric acid1/2 cup Epsom saltSlowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. If you like a little color, you can add some skin safe food coloring at this point. Overkill each half of the molds and press them together. Let them sit for at least an hour or even over night. The bath bombs will pop out easy by lightly tapping on the sides of the mold.

Years ago I made bathbombs for many of my friends for christmas. While they smelled fantastic and felt great in the bath, they just were not pretty since I didn't have a proper mold for them. I've always wanted to try again, and with this set of molds I was able to have much greater success, making perfect looking bath bombs that look pretty enough to give as gifts - in fact that most likely is going to be what I give to many of my friends this year! This set comes with 4 pieces - which is enough to make 2 at a time. This means I can let one bath bomb start to set while I work on the second, and alternate between the two sets of molds. The molds were easy to use and made a decent size bath bomb - about two and a half inches or so. The smooth stainless steel of the mold meant they didn't stick, and that cleanup was a breeze. When not in use they neatly stack one inside the other so they take up a minimum amount of storage space. In fact the box they came in is perfect to store them in so they don't get dinged about if I toss thm into a drawer with my other craft supplies.I did receive a sample of these at no cost for the purpose of testing and review.
