Bindi Baby Animals (Tamil): A Beginner Language Book for Tamil Children (Tamil Edition)

Really like the phonetics written with English letters for those of us that can't read Tamil script. Disappointed by the abstract pictures. They are definitely more artwork than helpful visuals for the kids (and me!) to learn the words. If we keep this book, we will have to print clearer pictures to accompany the artwork.

Great book, great illustrations. Would love for it to be accessible for babies & toddlers. We have to be careful as our 1.5 year old son keeps bending the pages. You can read it to a baby, but not give it to a baby.

The book I received had a Tamil cover but the inside pages were all written in Hindi.

A very good beginner's book for babies, but felt that it is over priced for the content.

Great book!

I didn't like this book. It has the Tamil words written phonetically in English as well, so வாத்து has "vaaththu" written under it. To me this defeats the purpose of teaching kids to read in Tamil. They could just sound it out in English instead. The opposite page for each word also has the letter the word begins with, but these are incorrect (so for வாத்து, the opposite page says வ instead of வா).

J'ai commandé ce livre pour ma fille qui est franco-indienne, et qui grandit loin de l'Inde.Ce livre est sépcifiquement conçu pour les enfants de la diaspora indienne. Les noms des animaux sont écrits dans la langue indienne sélectionnée (tamoul pour nous), et sont accompagnés de leur prononciation en alphabet latin. Cela m'aide aussi car je ne sais pas lire le tamoul.A la fin, l'alpahbet tamoul est repris.Les dessins sont très colorés et conçus d'après le design des bindis.
