This compilation spans the 4 studio albums from the Mercury years - Night Songs, Long Cold Winter, Heartbreak Station and Still Climbing.There are no remix, demo or live tracks to be found here, just 17 studio tracks that have been beautifully remastered. Until the box set from 2018 these were the best versions available and gets bonus points for that.Regarding the tracks there are 4 from Night Songs, a massive 7 from Long Cold Winter, 4 from Heartbreak Station and 2 from Still Climbing in chronological order.Personally I would have preferred a more even distribution of songs from each album represented and the inclusion of a track or two from the Japanese Mercury release: Live Train to Heartbreak Station.The booklet has a few band photos, a nice narrative about the band's history and a track listing including which album each was released on and what, if any charted position with date.Although I have some minor flaws with tracks this is still a five star release that holds up 17 years after it's initial release with great mastering and the info/photos within the booklet.

Very Good compilation from a band that got an unfair shake back in the metal glory days. Tom Keifer wrote a bunch of songs that still sound amazing. I saw them live 4-5 times and their headlining shows were outstanding. They were one of the first metal bands that I remember adding additional "jamming" to the end or middle of some of their songs. Always high energy and tight. Really absurd that they get lumped in with Bon Jovi, Warrant, Poison, etc. Are sooooo much better than those really s***ty bands, and would say they easily wrote as many or more great songs than Crue, Dokken and Ratt. Album hilights...Night Songs, Somebody Save Me, Falling Apart at The Seams, Gypsy Road, Last Mile, Long Cold Winter, If You Don't Like It. One of the few bands of that era I would go see live now. It's been waaaay toooo loooonggg!!!

Cinderella are and always have been one of the most talented groups. Every song on this album is incredible, from the first to the last track. My personal faves are Long Cold Winter, omg, can Tom Kiefer's voice give you any more emotion? The answer is yes, this is one of the best bluesy rock ballads you'll ever hear. And how can one forget the power ballad that is, don't know what you've got.I have been a fan of hair metal since the 80s and have always defended hair metal in that, it was an era when every member of the band had to have some talent, that's why bands like Cinderella have stood the test of time, not just because they had fantastic hair!!!! LOL!!Buy this album if you want to hear good music, if you don't like good music, well it probably won't do anything for you!!

Great band derailed by grunge far too soon. Hits from all their studio albums. Great service, great price.
