I started using McClean in the 1970's while stationed in Europe. It whitens above the normal brands in the USA. It's was difficult to find when we returned from overseas and many American toothpaste companies were claiming it was too abrasive. I never found anything abrasive or distasteful about and dentist asked what I was utilizing and then remarked "don't stop doing whatever it is that you are doing, your teeth and gums look remarkable." So some 15 years later I find it on Amazon and purchased it. I haven't noticed any significant changes yet, but I have noticed my breath feels fresher and my tongue feels clean too. If you try it, you will notice that it doesn't have a sugary sticky taste like most American toothpaste. I will provide an update in a month or so.
