We've had this for 7 months and I'm thinking about getting a second one for the other bathroom.I bought this when we moved to a house with a septic system as a way to contain wet wipes. This is excellent for that purpose. Everything is out of sight, it doesn't smell, and it's hands-free. It can smell during the brief period that the lid is open, but we change the liner (use regular small trash bags, which are oversized for this but I already had them for another purpose) once a week and that keeps the smell to a minimum.The motion sensor works great. We have a cat who has shown zero interest in the trash can and has never set the motion sensor off.

It is not pet proof, in fact it’s worse than regular covers as my dog just puts her head near it and it opens for her. The filter holder came off too easily we lost it in a garbage bag and it was too late /gone in trash before we realized.

Product works great! Need to ring the doorbell at drop off.

Unboxed this wastebasket and there was no electrical cord. I found that curious. Then I noticed on the top that there were a some stains and scratches. I’ll never buy from them again.

Nice little unit, but closes with a bit of a slam. Could be quieter.
