A very good epoxy at a great price
I recently needed to replace the deck on my wooden boat, so I decided to try this reasonably priced epoxy as a test. I've been using the West System Epoxy for years, but the high prices were getting out of hand. I ended up using three gallons of this epoxy to complete the entire project. It was used for structural repairs, securing the cedar planks, and finishing the deck. The epoxy performed exceptionally well. It dried solidly, mixed smoothly with the fillers, and provided a strong, reliable bond throughout the project. The experience was straightforward and hassle-free, which made the job much easier. Best of all, I saved hundreds of dollars compared to what I would have spent on the West System Epoxy, and so far, it has held up perfectly.Given how well this epoxy worked and the significant savings, I’m definitely sticking with this brand for future projects. It’s proven to be a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the more expensive options out there.

Excellent High-Performance Marine Epoxy
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this Marine Boat Epoxy Resin for a significant project on our pontoon boat. We needed a reliable, high-performance epoxy to coat the new wood flooring we installed, and this two-part epoxy kit was perfect for the job.The kit includes one and a half gallons of epoxy, and mixing the two parts together was straightforward. We applied it to the bottom of the boat, and it turned out fantastic. While the application process was a bit challenging at times, the results were well worth it. The epoxy provided a durable, smooth, and high-quality finish that exceeded our expectations.I highly recommend this epoxy resin for any marine-related repairs or construction projects. It truly delivers excellent performance and durability. Five stars for a product that delivers as promised!Feel free to adjust any details to better fit your experience.

Great product for the price
I used this to seal a new floor on my boat. As the old floor was completely rotten. It's easy to use and takes a a few hours to become tacky. I did 3 coats over 4 day. Between the 2nd and final coat there was a little bit of water on the surface which made the floor extremely slippery. I mixed up 48 ounces of epoxy and added a half cup silica sand and rolled it on for the final. Turned out beautiful and the sand was just enough to keep from slipping when wet. Only down side is it scratches extremely easy. I. Probably going to add a coat of polyurethane to remove the scratches and make for a resistant surface.

First-time boat builder.
Building an 18' Carolina dory. As a filler, I thickened this epoxy with silica, saw dust, or paper dust/carbon powder. They each worked great as a thickener and resulted in a perfect filler for screw holes and knots. I then used it straight to wet out the glass and it worked very well, just the right consistency - excellent saturation into both the wood and the glass. I mixed it in small batches and was never hurried. It cured out perfectly. The hardener is quite thin and the included pump works perfectly. The resin is a considerably thicker so I'd recommend just carefully pouring it right out of the jug. To me, much easier while saving quite a bit of time working an annoyingly slow pump.I shopped around and this was by far the best deal I could find on marine quality epoxy. I have to say that I'm very happy with the product and the results I was able to obtain with it.

Great value , extremely clear
I used to this to epoxy plywood for the deck of my duck boat. For people looking for a clear Marine epoxy, This stuff was very clear and very hard But it was also somewhat brittle because it was so hard. But over all excellent product for the price. The description says fast cure but it is definitely not a fast cure. Plan on letting it cure overnight in any sort of mild temperatures. And do not attempt to use in temperatures lower than 40 Because it cures with a weird sticky Film on it and you will have to recoat. But I would definitely buy and use this epoxy again.

Good product and 1/2 the price of the "Leading Brand" epoxy and hardener kit.
I just finished using this product to completely encapsulate the new floor I'm installing in my 16' aluminum boat. Like other reviewers stated, the resin does NOT pump easily even at 80*F in my garage. I could use the pump for small pots of mix (3-4oz) but used the measuring lines on store bought mixing cups and poured my larger batches (12oz) to save my forearms. Definitely cures faster in warmer temps (70-80*F = 3-4 hours/50-60*F = 6-10 hours)Mix it well and let the bubbles rise out and you have about 15-25 minutes to do what you need. Larger pots will warm up and cure faster in the cup if you let them sit too long. Product spreads out nicely with a foam roller and soaks into fresh plywood well even without thinning. Took 3 coats about 45min to an hour apart to get a nice .8-1mm encapsulation on all of my floor pieces and several other sections of 1/2 exterior ply. Edges of ply took a 4th coat to get the thick shiny finish I was looking for as they tend to soak in more of the epoxy.

Not as advertised. Can’t be used for boat building.
The viscosity of the resin is about like creamy peanut butter! This makes it almost impossible to wet out fiberglass or wood. Also, being so thick it is difficult to dispense precise amounts of resin as it hardly flows out of the container and, when it does,it comes out in a big blob. I’ve used about an ounce of it to patch a small part, but no way can I use it to build another boat (Ive built 6 over the past 20 years and have used various epoxies during that time, so I do know what I am talking about). This product is junk as far as I’mConcerned and now I’m stuck with it since I just found out that it’s not returnable. Buyer beware!
