Speaker works very well. Battery works for as long as I need it to between charges. The edges are sharp, which can make it uncomfortable to hold. It can be good and loud, and it has strong bass for such a small device. Treble is good too. It tends to “clip” (produce crackling sounds) if I make it too loud—I believe that more expensive devices prevent this from happening to protect the speakers, but on this device the user must keep the volume in a safe range themselves. It is difficult to get it to operate quietly when playing music with Bluetooth. When playing music using a cable, it seems to operate more quietly. I have not tested the card slot, because I do not have this sort of card, and I did not need it anyway. The phone call feature did not work with my iPhone 5c; I could hear the other person, but they could not hear me. The device also does not connect to WiFi (there is nothing that says it should). I am very happy that the device does not sport a working microphone or WiFi capabilities, because I only wanted a speaker; I did not want yet another device that can listen to me and beam data over the Internet. I certainly do not need more devices that make it easy to compromise my security and privacy. So I am pleased with this device’s simplicity. It is easy enough to use. It is a little confusing that the plus and minus buttons skip songs instead of changing the volume when playing music with Bluetooth, so I just do not touch any of the buttons on the bottom except the power button. A review video on YouTube reported that this device makes announcements in a Chinese language—I do not think the YouTube reviewer could distinguish between Mandarin and Cantonese. I was excited to learn some new words—I find this sort of thing adorable—but my device makes bell sounds instead. Ah, well. I like this speaker all the same. I am very happy with this device. Great little speaker! Pros: *I can hear a tiny bit of static electricity noise if I'm playing piano music *very* softly, but at a normal level, you dont hear it at all (and I'm very sensitive to it!). *It stays connected to my phone even when I'm all the way across the house (we have a long house) or when I run out to the garage. *It is loud enough in the van that the kids can easily listen to The Magic TreeHouse audiobooks. *I saw one reviewer that said with the audio books it skipped between sentences, but it worked flawlessly for us and the kids have listen to four books on it so far. *I can't speak to the bass bc the music I listen to doesn't have a lot, but it has really good overall sound. *battery is long lived Potential Cons (not for me but could be for others) *buttons on the bottom (I actually like not seeing the buttons....) *Light is bright.....if you want it for at night, it will be bright and would probably blind u when u flipped it over to look at buttons. (I don't, so its fine for me.... I like the light on bc I can tell when it is on or off).

What I needed for the car and easy to use. I have an older vehicle that does not link up to blue tooth and I could not seem to find just the right audio device until this one. I have used this for a couple of months now and I don't have anything bad to say about it so I will just list the things that make me glad I finally got this affordable option after other attempts with other products were failures. First it is so easy to use. After linking it the first time, it links up right away at turning on, no waiting a long time or anything. It always locates my phone right away. It is really easy to use without even looking at it once you use it a few times. I had tried another one before and trying to push mode and stuff to set it up to use each time was really aggravating, would take forever for each mode and would require me to pull over so as not to interfere with driving (safe driving is a must). I was prepared for the same thing with this one but I was so pleased when I started using it, it went to the right mode that I was trying to use each time after turning it on so without looking I can push the power button and I am good to go. Also sound is easy to control, you can do it from your phone or from the device. This is really handy in case you can't reach one item or the other. Second, the sound is GREAT! I could not have been happier with the sound. It can go so loud that I do not dare turn it up all the way, no need and the sound is so clear. It took me months to listen to a book before this sound device because while driving I would have to rewind so I could not hear sections again clear but as soon as I started listening with this, I could not wait to start the next book as I got through them so fast. Third, it works great for other phone audio sounds also including talk to text (text reading) and GPS on my phone. I actually turn the sound off on my phone GPS or turn it down through the menu options because it will be so loud over the audio book it can be a little much because the book audio seems to be lower sound and when turned up to hear nicely on this it makes GPS really loud. I wish I could control the sounds separate easily on my phone but I am not disappointed that I can't. The fact I can hear my books so loud and clear is wonderful. Fourth, the size is great. It is small enough to fit in my cup holders but I avoid that because it is shorter that the cup holder and makes it harder to get out but if I have a cord to it, it does not slip in. I have a spot in my dash it can sit also if I wanted it to be higher but I usually just leave down on the seat next to me. It is really amazing the sound that comes out of it for it being so small. Fifth, it seems really well made. I had tried a couple other sound items before and they were just plastic and once I started using them they would start to cut in and out or not hold a charge or something. For the size of this, it has some weight to it. I don't have it in my hand right now but I feel like if you sat on it, it is not going to break. I would say this is a great little sound device for your car or even your home if you need something to help boost the sound of any blue tooth product.
