Acumen Disc DV-904-SSP Flash Memory Drive to Media Disc Duplicator with 1-4 Target DVD/CD Burners (with MS, CF, SD, MMC, USB Slots)

This device functions as it is supposed to. It copies DVDs perfectly (but not commercially bought ones) whether the original is European or U.S. That does not mean it makes a European DVD into a U.S. one. It just copies whatever is on the original DVD. It also makes a decent photo DVD from an 4 GB SD card (in my case from a Cannon camera) but does not include the embedded videos taken on the camera card. My biggest disappointment is that this device will not make a playback DVD from my Sony video camera SDHC card. I keep looking for some device that will do that and haven't found one yet. After some discussion with a Spartan tech expert, he told me that it will back up the data of the Sony video camera SDHC which can then be played on a computer (in my case a Macbook pro after some VLC updating). But while I now have the Video camera SDHC data backed up on 6 DVDs (for a 32 G card) I cannot play them on any DVD player, which I had hoped for. I will keep the Spartan because I always have a need for DVD copies.

So far it worked good. I've only made copies from media cards. I did not get owner's manual, so I don't know the other functions. What I have has two bay for copying, but it only copy to one disk at a time. Once the first one is finished, you have to restard to copy the 2nd disk. I like it but it would be better if I have an operating instructions that I can refferred to for the other functions or trouble shooting any problem.

Love this!! I have been having a miserable time trying to copy CDs and DVDs - my old dinosaur tried and true way finally gasped its last breath and I was at a lost. I found this product on Amazon and purchased it. It works fantastic. Copies my CDs and DVDs like a champ. My ONLY complaint- no written instructions. There is a rather terrible DVDs you can watch but that is just about as bad as not having written instructions- if they don't want to include instructions then they should send a website where they can print the instructions from. Again, the product works great, I figured out how to use it all by myself and I am NOT tech savvy but I am pretty sure I am not using it to its full potential

Has worked perfectly. Only thing I would have preferred is an owner's manual but was able to figure its basics out without one. It does come with a cd to teach you how to use it but, believe it or not, I don't have a computer so the cd is useless for me.

My grandfather loves it! For those, who want pure hardware and no software interaction - perfect!!

We put in a mini DVD and Presto a copy!
