Perfect for aviation mechs
Knipex always out performs but these are frickin awesome! Changeable jaws, adjustable size. Slim for tight areas. I love that they were available on Amazon instead of trying to order from Germany. Exactly what I was expecting. Good price too!

Soft Jaw May be too Soft
Love the tool! But be careful, it may NOT have enough friction for certain applications, such as grabbing a shower head spout to twist it.

Exceptional quality soft jaw pliers with locking adjustment
I wondered why these locking soft jaw pliers cost almost double what the cheaper ones did. When the pliers arrived, it was immediately obvious why. This is a a high quality tool made in Germany, unlike the cheaper ones made in China. The Knipex soft jaw plier has two densities of plastic, with the ability to grip things without marring their surface. The handle has 20 fine adjustments that are locked in place when you release the side lock button, so the tool exactly fits the components you are tightening or loosening. If you want a well-engineered, high quality tool that will last a lifetime, you can't go wrong with the Knipex 81 11 250.
