Worked well and was easy to use. I never owned a corer before, so the flexibility caught me off guard, but I realized it allowed me to twist the corer straight through with no issues.

Bent coring first apple.

I purchased this apple corer because I work at an Early Childhood Education center and we serve fresh fruit daily. I use to use a circle slicer and corer in one, but it was difficult to use, after getting cut while using it, I stopped and I was just using a knife. This corer is a great alternative to the old fashioned, but still widely used circle shaped apple slicer and corer in one. It is a cylinder shape with a slim hard rubber ergonomic handle. The teeth on the corer are very sharp. Between the great handle and sharp teeth, it is easy to push down on the fruit you want to core. I used it with apples and pears and it worked well. The circumference is large enough that it got out all the seeds, but not so large that you have no fruit left. You can core several apples in a row with this corer and not have to stop between cuts to remove the core from the corer. When you do cut your last apple, you will need to push the core out of the apple corer, but it is easier than with the old fashioned kind. This is a review for the Apple Corer - Stainless Steel with Plastic Handle - Tool for Apple, Pear and Other Fruits - Easy Core Remover. This is the first time I have seen just a coring device. All the ones I have ever own were corer and slicers all in one devices. So it is neat to see this one, where you can just simply take the core out of your fruit and you can then slice it anyway you want to, or not at all. The metal on it is strong, it takes a little elbow grease to get through a firm apple but it works great none the less. The handle is easy to grip and hold. I received this apple corer as a promotional test product at a discounted price to use and review. This is my honest and unbiased review after receiving this corer.

I love going on pintrest and seeing all the great ideas that people have for party dishes. However, most of the really cute mini versions of desserts called for having an apple corer. I could never find one until now!The Stainless steel apple corer works great You just push down and twist to get the apple cored.Now here is where you can make this tool really work for you. If you use it on a melon or the fruit part of apples and pears, you can get this perfect little rounded geometric portions that you can then dip in caramel, chocolate, or what ever you can make stick! They all look so nice. My favorite is making mini caramel apples with this tool and then layering the apple with nuts and chocolate.Dont just limit yourself to corer the apple! Do all sorts of great things with this. Larger strawberries can be cored with this as well.
