These are meant for factorty tuck and roll cable ends

for larger wire sizes, maybe. you would need to look at actual Molex pins to see whats required on open style connector pins also keep in mind this tool is also between 8 and 10mm wide ( see pictures ) if the crimp length on the pin is shorter, you will be crushing the wire insulation also as a side note - if you are going to crimp a lot of connectors, I would get the table top model https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VPHDXG5

What thinnest gauge can 5100A crimp?

The crimping tool goes from 5 amp to 100 amp lug. The five amp plug is real small the largest you would get largest would be 18 gauge wire 22 Gage wire would be the lowest gauge. This tool is very well made and worth the money.
