This is a nice sturdy little flash light. It fits comfortably in your hand . I live in Arizona and we have a scorpion issue in my neighborhood. I am allergic to the venom of the scorpion so I have to be extra careful that none of them have gotten into my house. I had purchased a larger 100 LED flashlight previously hoping that the larger flashlight would be brighter. I paid a lot more for it too. It wasn't much brighter than the cheap 9 LED flashlights from Lowe's. I was very disappointed.This flashlight is much brighter than the previous flash lights I have purchased through Lowe's, etc. It makes searching for the scorpions MUCH easier. I am definitely pleased with this one.Plus, it definitely shows if you have missed anything while cleaning. If you did not vacuum your carpets well or clean the bathroom you will know it.

This works well and is offered at an amazingly good price (considering my first portable UV lamp back in the 1980s was in the hundreds of dollars range). There is a lot of visible (purple) light that comes off of it (you could almost use it like a dim flashlight), but the UV-A spectrum is definitely there -- the rock and mineral collection lights up, and it seems to have a decent range outside (the dim visible light drops off readily, but the UV-A seems to have a range of a regular flashlight (strong!). You definitely don't want to shine this in your eyes (not for unsupervised children). If UV-A is all you need, this is an amazing deal.

This flashlight is bright and work great for finding stains and dusty spots easy in darkened rooms. It's worked very well for me so far. I've used it very often it's still on the first set of batteries I've put in it. It's built with a handsome, well made aluminum body. Mine did not come with the Dreamsky name labeled on the side. (I wish because that's a cool name) The body is plain black.I showed how it works to my mother who was utter shocked by what she saw show up especially in the bathrooms.Overall, it works great. I have no problems or complaints about it. I would gladly buy it again or recommend it to anyone who could use this kind of flashlight.

UPDATED review:Originally I wrote that it works just as described and I liked that it had a bigger range that some of the smaller ones. That's if you can get it to work. I have to play with screwing in the light cover and the batter cover multiple times before it will go on. This is only after less than a dozen total uses. I'm pretty annoyed with how lame it is.

This flashlight has lots of un-intended uses, like finding scorpions and also looking to see how clean something really is. Use it to look at the bathroom in the hotel. You might be surprised what this lights up that your eyes cant see. There is a removable plastic thing into which you insert the batteries, three AAA into the holder, then slide it back in, and screw on the base. Button click on and off. Mine flickers, I think some of the batteries or battery holder doesnt make really good contact, kind of wonky. I have yet to find a scorpion, which is good news but I did discover my home cleaning isn't as good as I thought.If you take this into a hotel bathroom and base complaints on UV light you're likely to accomplish nothing except making people mad. There's lots of things we cannot see which light-up under UV light.

Amazing. I'll never use the bathroom at work again. No touch the walls in my house. Nor trust handshakes from strangers. This thing shows all and is really good at showing substances. Cat urine, human urine, other stuff... Crazy. Time to get cleaning.

WOW ! I'm finding all sorts of the "invisible" stains, crud, and things not seen in ordinary light. Excellent little UV light source. Definitely handy to have and well worth the price. Don't forget to get some UV protective "glasses/eye shields".

Perfect!! I use this flashlight every night for walking the dog, taking out the trash can and investigating spooky noises outside! We have given them for gifts. This flashlight is so bright and the it lights up as far away as the end of the block. The re-chargeable batteries are a must have, too!
