This case has lasted me for 10 months. It has been dropped onto the parking lot pavement dozens of times and protected my phone phenomenally. After a few times of accidental drops, I even got out of the habit of trying to catch my phone midair as it falls as I am completely confident that this case will protect my phone.As this case aged, dust became trapped between the phone and the clear back taking away from the pristine clear effect. Over time, the paint along the corners of the rose gold plastic border faded and chipped away to a plasticy white look. Now, after 10 months of daily use, I am going to have to get a new phone case because the hard plastic border of the case has snapped.This case has done it's job in protecting my phone.

This wasn't my first choice and in some ways still isn't. I was actually looking for a wallet type case, but couldn't find one to my liking. I am very, very picky. So I settle for this since I was in desperate need of a case and the iPhone 5S was starting to show the wear & tear of being naked and proved to be a very slippery phone to hold on to. The old case had given out and the iPhone 5S was forced to be free and bare to the hazards of the world and it's environment.As a runner up case, I couldn't have picked a better product. In fact, I like it so much I have not gone back to shop for a wallet case. At times I miss some features of having a wallet case, but I easily adapted and haven't looked back. Bought this in March, 2017.Within the first week I dropped the phone from a height of about 38 inches (I measured the height) onto a tile floor. The case corner had a slight dent in it and the phone was perfectly fine. No case - I would probably have had a very badly cracked/shattered screen that would need replacing, if not a potentially dead phone.The case is quite slim for what it does. Even with raised edges on the face of the phone, which is very nice for wet/moist surfaces.Love the minimalist style with the color edge detail (rose gold) and silver accents.The clear back, vinyl side of the phone did not yellow. With the back being clear I was able to get a decal, which stands up to the test of time with this case protecting it. Also, the back is tacky enough that the phone does not go sliding around off surfaces and onto hard floors.The installation was easy and fit the iPhone 5S perfectly. Not hard to take off for a good internal cleaning either.Never a problem accessing or using the sound switch, power, or volume buttons.The power cord fits nicely with no fuss, as well as the headphone jack.Phone call sound is clear from both ends (receiver & receivee).A very nice feature of this phone is the strap holder. The BEST, when taking picture from heights, never have to worry about dropping the phone. Also, not as easy to steal when strapped to your wrist or something while traveling. Also, an easier way to transport your phone while on the go - no pockets, no big deal.After a little over a year of use and abuse, the case is showing its wear, but I can say it has aged nicely because I still get comments on how nice the case is - wow!This is with the buttons not quote being silver any more;the color has worn off many of the edges;and has a few dings, dents, and scrapesAs for the vinyl backing... I use to have an old fashion GPS Tom Tom, but that finally gave out and I made the switch to using the contemporary GPS app on the phone.I'm on the road for work a lot, 3-5 days a week, plus normal travel. Being the case is vinyl and plastic, along with the heat of the sun, the phone will tend to get quite hot. I believe this has caused the vinyl backing to yellow a bit. I think I only notice it because I remember how clear it use to be, otherwise, no one even notices until I point it out. I wish the case would let the phone breath a bit more. From a design perspective not sure how they could accomplish this without loosing the overall aesthetics of the case.The camera functions well with the case on, however, on the occasion, I notice a flash back or fuzzy edges or other nuance in lost picture quality, which I have found to be due to the case interfering despite the large cut out area. I took a picture with the case on, then took the same picture without the case. Did the same experiment on other occasions and each time the lost picture quality was due to the case. Doesn't happen all the time though, may have to do with the surround lighting and/or back lighting as well. Alas, it is what it is - nothing is perfect.Even though this wasn't my first choice, it is now the first choice in protecting my phone with style.

The one to get. This case has a soft rubber shield for the phone and an attractive aluminum ring that goes around the edge. The clear back is also soft rubber and allows you to show off the color and beauty of your iphone. The volume buttons are silver to contrast with the color of the aluminum ring. It fit the iphone 5se perfectly and looks amazing. For around 9 bucks you can't beat it. It is superior in price and appearance over any of the over priced options you will find at the cell phone store or in the Apple store. The soft rubber protrudes from the front enough to protect your screen from scratches if your phone is placed face down or if it falls face down.

I've had this case for about 4 1/2 months and it's held up pretty well. The color is very pretty- it's a little less of a harsh, bright pink than shown in the photo, rather it is closer to the color of a rose gold iPhone, which I like.I've rated this product 5 stars, but by no means is it flawless. I'll outline the pros and cons for you.PROS:-Very pretty, sleek design- doesn't transform the look of the phone but rather enhances its beauty.-Protects the phone from everyday drop damage. I drop my phone at least 20 times a day as I am very clumsy. The raised edges around the screen also protect it when you drop it face-down. In the past I owned a bad case that did not have raised edges- it happened to drop completely face-down one day and the whole screen shattered.-Secure- The way the case is built, your phone will not pop out of the case like it does with some cases.-Easy to use- The case has lock and volume buttons that are easily pressed and press down on the buttons on your phone. This is a much better alternative to some cases which simply have a raised bump where the button is and you have to push down extremely hard just to push the little button on your phone. It is also not difficult to reach the silent button or the lightning charge port.Cheap- the case is inexpensive and protects your phone from hundreds of dollars worth of damage for the cost of a small pizza.CONS:-Difficult to put on and take off- This case has two parts- the soft, shell and the hard plastic edge. It can be rather difficult sometimes to take the hard plastic part off sometimes, but it is not impossible. However, after a few weeks of use a little piece of the shell actually broke- a little strip below the charging port. This is because the shell had nowhere to bend when I was taking it off and instead broke at the weakest point. This did not make the case any less useful in protecting the phone, however, and the damage did not spread. The case remained effective and intact.-Dirty- Dirt and dust manages to make its way under the case over time and eventually you will notice a lot of it on the back of your phone. From time to time you will have to take the case off (which, as I mentioned, can be difficult) and clean your phone as well as the case.-Chips- over time repeated drops will chip the paint off the edges of the case. This is to be expected but is necessary to note. There is visible superficial damage to the case, but the case is not dented, cracked, or broken apart completely.Overall, this case is a pretty fair deal and I can confidently say that the case is not only good considering the low price, but also pretty good on its own too.

The colour of the outside is very nice. The buttons are very nice to press and don't stick at all. The only issue I have with it is not being able to move the switch on my iPhone but other then that I love it.

This case is amazing! I've had no encounter with yellowing, I have used this case for about 3-4 months now and it is still doing great! I recommend this product. (I've dropped my phone a couple of times and nothing has been damaged)
