Awesome tool!
5/26/2026 : This tool is fantastic! I was punching down with a tool on the true cable jacks, and it worked fine. I sometimes had to redo a wire or two. And the wires didn't always clip off nicely, so the cap wouldn't fit so nice. With this tool, there is not harsh punching mechanism, you just squeeze down nice and smooth. The wires "punch" down perfectly every time, and the wires clip off perfectly, so the cap just slips right now. It's built really nice, feels like it will last a long time. It's a bit pricey, but, if you're getting into the ecosystem, and it's a good ecosystem to have in your drawers, it is definitely worth having! Very easy to use, and very fast compared to individually punching down every wire. Totally worth it!

Really does a nice job making keystone connectors
I'm impressed by this thing. Really does a nice job making solid keystone connectors. You do have to use it with TrueCable keystones, but I believe these are high quality and I don't mind paying the price. I've made about 3 dozen keystones and none has failed me (unless I wasn't paying attention and inserted wires in the incorrect order -- shame on me). In my opinion it is a quality tool worth the money and TrueCable keystones are well labeled so unless youi're a dummy (ahem, present company excepted) you'll get great results.

Needs proprietary jacks
Looks like a great termination tool however you need to have truecable jacks. The tool will not fit other brands of jacks. I did not have the correct brand jacks so I can't say how well it worked or not worked.

Excellent tool, works perfectly with TrueCABLE keystone jacks
Pay no attention to reviewers complaining of problems with other keystones. All tools of this type require precision fit with a specific brand of keystone, for this tool TrueCABLE. Pictures attached will show why perfect fit to the keystone is needed. The trueTERM tool works perfectly every time to instantly seat all eight wires in the keystone’s IDC connectors and cut off the wire ends flush with the keystone block in one stoke. I have done dozens of keystone terminations with no problems. Manually arranging the wires into the keystone block is required before inserting the keystone into the termination tool, but after that the termination process is quick. Highly recommended if you need to do a significant number of keystone terminations. I would also mention that TrueCABLE keystones are excellent. All are component rated, ANSI/TIA 568 2.D Certified, UL Listed, TAA compliant, ETL Verified, RoHS-2 compliant. Proper termination technique with quality certified keystones is important for those links you want to achieve performance up to 10Gb. Because of the need to use a known quality keystone, a termination tool that is brand-specific is not a problem.

Doesn’t cut wires cleanly
I bought this tool to set up Ethernet Jacks to speed against using a punch tool. It actually made things more annoying because it wouldn’t cut through cables enough to trim from edge of back case. Waste of money. Just use the punch tool.
