I love that the adhesive base was fairly small. This allowed me to place it on one of the few tiny parts of my dashboard that hard plastic and not covered with textured leather. This was a great mount that used daily during my commute. The only unfortunate thing is that when I shipped my vehicle to my new home, the mount was MIA when I picked up my car. Not sure if it was swiped by one of the transport personnel, or broke en route and removed so I wouldn’t clock them for potential damage. I’ll probably replace it soon since I miss it every time I get in my car.

I’ve purchased several different types but this is the only one that works with out lifting up off the dash.

fantastic mount, simple and clean. very strong magnet just of course make sure if you have a case that it’s magsafe otherwise the mount won’t hold it as secure. comes with 2 extra adhesives for the mount and also a magsafe magnet in case you don’t want to get another case you can slap it on and still use the mount. holds up with my 17 pro max and doesn’t move around or anything

I gave this 4/5 stars as the base has a strong magnet that securely holds my MagSafe iPhone 12 Pro phone (I am not using a case with my phone). The magnet is strong enough to keep the phone in place while driving over rough roads and easily stays in place with no slippage during normal car driving. I took a star off because the metal plate that comes with it (which isn't needed if you are just securing your phone to the magnet) has very weak glue that doesn't stay on any phone on which I tried it. The metal plate detached from the back of the phones and was left on the base.

I've never gone the magnetic route before, and wasn't sure about this approach. I have a great case I've been using with my 12 Max Pro, but it didn't have the MagSafe Ring, and the case kept the phone too far away from this mount to make a good connection. I bought a magsafe case (Linklike [Military Anti-Drop] Compatible for iPhone 12 PRO MAX Case Clear [Compatible with Magsafe Charger]) and I was concerned that it would interfere with the inductive charge on my Anker phone stand. Turns out, it all works fantastically - the magsafe case plus this mount holds it like it was glued on, and it still charges great on the Anker stand. I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. NOTES: Most adhesive products work best when installed above 75 degrees surface temp. It is important to make sure the surface is clean. - I have a vehicle with metal on the dash, so that was the obvious spot to connect, but a highly textured plastic might give you some issues.

I love this thing! The magnets are super strong it grabs the phone right out of my hands from a good distance away. Now that said My First experience wasn't that good with a cheap Onn case I picked up. It claimed to support Magsafe but never stuck to this thing just barley clung to the Apple charger. I bought a new case and it made all the difference. So, if you have trouble just try another case.

It lasted for about 3 years and then cracked out of nowhere. We do live in a very hot climate (South FL). The only thing I didn’t like about it, was having to take off the pop socket every time to use the mount. I liked how soft the round disk was, as others scratched my phone case but this one did not. I replaced this mount when it broke with a full metal one with a ring (instead of the round plate) that’s hollow in the middle so the pop socket doesn’t need to be removed to use it.

I’ve had this MagSafe car mount for 4 years and some change, it finally bit the dust today. Great product, especially for the price! Will be buying another one

Great solution if all you need is the holder and not the charging magsafe capability.

I have an iPhone 13 and this mount works amazingly well with and without the Apple Magsafe case. Can't be faulted. Highly Recommended!

Para todos los dueños de un Kia rio 2020 en Adelante el tablero tiene este punto que a mí me gustó para ponerlo y es entre la perilla de frío/caliente y la perilla para nivel de aire. En el punto medio y plano ahí va perfecto, con el celular claro pierdes algo de acceso al aire pero quitando el teléfono recuperas acceso a ambas perillas. Gran producto el imán es fuerte para el iPhone sin carcasa que es como yo lo uso y debería usarse. Si eres tonto o tienes manos de mantequilla o pagas cosas caras para después cubrirlas con algo bueno anda allá tú descerebrado… y no compres esto que la practicidad no forma parte de tu vida y este producto seguro que no es para ti. Good strong MagSafe holder. Able to stick to various smooth surfaces using the provided tape. Great product!
