Simple but adequate
I picked this mirror because of the small size and because the shape is more aerodynamic than most similar mirrors. I attached it to the drop bars and it provides great rear visibility when I am on the hoods. It is easy to attach and it stays put well. Like nearly all bicycle mirrors, you adjust it for your riding position. If you move around a lot, like bar tops, in the drops, or on tt bars, then you will change your angle on the mirror so much you will not be able to see behind you. I picked the position I am most likely to be riding when in traffic and I set the mirror to fit that position. It works great.

No more fear while changing lanes or turning
Nice small convex mirror, which you can install anywhere (some limitations). My bike grips do not have the end caps, and I don't want to have mirrors looking like antennas. This mirror meets my needs except quality of convex mirror (little bit distorted like the one in haunted house). You can see your rear clearly, but little wobbly. This might be due to its oval shape. Main objective is to see whether you are safe to maneuver, and this offers the rear view.Installation is easy with rubber strap, and adjustment is breeze (easy to adjust its postion for optimal view). Before using this, please make sure to remove protection film so that the view is less wobbly.Overall, great rear view mirror with a rubber strap. Safe Riding!!!

Good little mirror with multiple mounting options
I recently just purchased a second one of these mirrors. I really like the versitility of mounting options for this product. I've had other mirrors (i.e the "Mirrycle" - also nice) that mounted on the end of my mountain bike handlebar. While these provide good visibility they are obtrusive in a bike rack and are easily damaged (I've broken two). This little mirror provides a good rearview, due to the convex surface, although smaller than the Mirrycle. I've also yet to break one of these - the mirror is plastic instead of glass (a flaw in the Mirrycle) and is pretty tough.I've got mine mounted underneath my handlebar. You can also mount them on the bike frame or front fork but I found the image a little too small to see well - but does work well to see oncoming lights behind you at night. It is easy to mount and remove if you want to play around with the location that works best for you. It also has a good range of motion in the direction of the mirror. Although you can't "lock" it in a position, it doesn't seem to move around while riding rough roads. All in all this is the best of several rearview mirrors that I've tried - recommended

... has bar-end shifters which prevent me from using my favorite mirror (which fits in the end of the handlebars)
I bought this mirror because my touring bike has bar-end shifters which prevent me from using my favorite mirror (which fits in the end of the handlebars). The mirror works pretty well, and I can easily move from bike to bike without tools. Unfortunately, the strap broke in the middle of a ride after only 2 months of use. I went back and found it at the edge of the road. It looks like a car hit it, leaving the black plastic body mangled, but the mirror surface popped out and didn't break. Other mirrors I have owned cracked severely when my bike fell over in the grass, so that's a small plus for the Spy. The real problem with this mirror is the weak strap.

Great little mirror
I put this mirror on last night and went for a ride today. I loved this. You must know that the mirror is VERY small, so if you're hoping for a mirror the size of your car's rear view mirror, you'll be disappointed. But what I found was that this told me all I needed to know about approaching cars. It fit right at the end of my handlebar, and didn't interfere with my holding or braking. It was easy to install and stayed in place. I'm not sure I'll need one for the right side, but If I do, I'll get a matching set.

Worst bike mirrors ever
Worst bike mirrors ever. They are tiny and you see almost nothing in them. They are not convex either, limiting view area even more.Do not recommend.

Best Bike Mirror!
I bought this to replace one purchased over 10 years ago. The mirror isn't a real mirror, the image a bit distorted BUT it works fine for seeing what is behind you. This does not vibrate, as other mirrors I have tried did (the vibration makes the mirror useless). This mirror has NO vibration as you ride, so it works well to accomplish a couple of goals: keeping you safe so you can see behind you AND easy to install. I have 2 for each handle. The one I used for over 10 years was replaced because the "mirror" tarnished a bit. This is a good value for the money, it will last years!

Great little bike mirror!
This bike mirror is great! It stays put and doesn't keep needing adjustment. Despite its small size, it gives me a view of the two traffic lanes behind me, which is all I need. My previous mirror was constantly slipping out of position on the handlebars, even though the mounting bolts were screwed down tight. And I couldn't adjust it up or down, only side to side. The Zefal Spy rotates in every direction and straps onto many different places on the handlebars of my Dutch-style bike.
