Edit- This company has gone above and beyond to correct the issue. They completely refunded me, but also sent me a repair kit, with a screwdriver! So my pointer is back in use!I dislike that I got 2 days of use out of third laser pointer before the blue light scorched the little glass piece that makes it a clean beam. Now my ‘beam’ looks watery and lame. The safety goggles came unglued right out of the box. For almost a hundred dollars? Naw. Amazon was excellent about making this situation right though.

As of now, this laser has exceeded my expectations. I've wanted a laser this powerful ever since I was an obsessed teenager, unfortunately, at the time it would have cost upwards of $1,000.This laser has satisfied my want for a device that can scorch wood from ten feet and has a beautiful, bright beam. I will update as I use this monster. Until then, I would highly recommend this laser. And for the love of all that is good, please wear eye protection when using a laser this powerful.

Well, the laser itself is quite nice; feels sturdy and well constructed, clear warning label, seems to function extremely well (scary in fact). However the entire rest of the kit must have been made by another company and is complete garbage. Batteries are fine, charger seems fine, but all the lenses have been made so that once they are on they can spin forever without screwing back off for some reason. The glasses are nigh unusable, the arms have razor sharp flashing left over from being made the cheapest way possible and had to be covered with tape to not cut my ears open; the glass(red clear plastic) is also made from injection molding and is full of bubbles so it's really hard to see through and looks terrible. The foam insert wasn't even cut all the way through and none of it was actually punched out. The box itself is loose on every joint, there's cardboard coming out of every spot, and the handle was broken off when I opened the shipping box the very first time. As long as the laser stays good I won't return it as that was my primary reason for buying this kit, but for anyone else that really wants the rest of this stuff, just buy them separate because this stuff is basically trash straight off the assembly line.

But this is awesome! I loooooove this laser. It showed up a day before it was scheduled and it is amazing. Totally worth every penny..

verry strong, not a toy for a child can do very permanent damage... but a great adult toy birther/nonbirther..alike...LOL

Batteries are fairly light and I would guess fantastically overrated. But here's the deal, they work just great. I am not running this for minutes at a time anyway. The glasses I received work very well, esp to help focus at certain ranges. Anything not strictly white instantly smokes when the focus is good up to about 5ft. The beam on my version is fairly wide and I do have focus problems (-1 star). I don't get a tight dot more of an oval and this becomes more obvious at night pointed up to the stars.Visible beam during daytime (indoors) and I am certainly cautious with reflections or things I don't want pin-holes in! Had it about a week and played with it most days, will update if anything significant changes...

the battery lasts 2 seconds it fades and then it turns off it's not worth it I asked for a return I wasn't answered by the seller or Amazon I lost my money because of it

Charger doesn’t work either that or the batteries don’t work and it’s not the light going on or off that tells you when they are charged because it stays on 1 hour or 3 days stays on same result on the batteries… but hey I did order a blue laser/light whatever it does appear to be one now the things it’s suppose to do that would be a negative it wouldn’t or didn’t get a kleenax hot enough to catch fire but hey got a cool case of y’all’s looking for one get the chrome looking one for like 70-80 bucks with the internal batteries I had one of those and it did a lot more than it was suppose to do this one is whack
