This CushionCare Gaming Mouse Pad has worked very well for me. I am not an extreme gamer and possibly not even a casual one, but I was in need of a mouse pad so I decided to give this a shot as I do use the mouse at a high rate on a daily basis.My favorite part of the mat is that the top side is very smooth and comfortable. By smooth, I mean that it does not inhabit or have too much friction for the mouse to glide in every which direction. As for comfort, that is in regards to my wrist. I switch from my keyboard to my mouse very often and at a quick speed, so a lot of times my wrist will brush the top of the mouse pad when locating and gripping the mouse. When I do this a lot, with some mouse pads, I will feel some irritate on the skin of my wrist. I have not yet experienced this problem with this mouse pad.The construction of this mouse pad is also very nice and very durable. The back side of this mouse pad has anti slip material to firmly grip the surface on which the mouse pad is set. The mouse pad seems to be made of high quality and should last quite a long time.To my surprise, the gaming mouse that is included is of much better quality than expected, especially due to the fact that it is stated to be free and just included along with the mouse pad. I love the clicking sound that it makes as it compliments the chiclet keys on my laptop. There are not a lot of buttons on the mouse, but as a simple gaming mouse that is included free of charge, I definitely do not have any complaints here.Overall, both the mouse pad and mouse meets and slightly exceeds my expectation, so I am giving it a solid 5 stars at the current price of around $9.I was provided this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. When I think of a gaming mouse pad I think over an oversized mouse pad. This is a regular sized mouse pad and the product listing is very clear in this regard. That being said I probably wouldn't advertise this as a gaming mouse pad. I feel like a gamer might mistakenly overlook the size and be upset upon receipt. The size is perfect for my needs, I'm using in on my laptop tray and it fits perfectly. I do agree that the mouse pad doesn't sit 100% flat but mine isn't as bad as another reviewer's. The top fabric of mine is already curling up around the edges.When I ordered this I thought what I was ordering came with a complimentary gaming mouse. The listing says it's a 4 LED 1600 DPI wired gaming mouse. That is not at all what I received. I received a basic standard 800 DPI mouse. If I were buying this as a combo I would be really disappointed in receiving an inferior mouse. The mouse is a "free gift" with the mouse pad but the price point is that of a bundle. I wouldn't buy this for the mouse pad alone at this price and I would expect to receive the mouse I paid for.
