Supershieldz Designed for Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 inch Tempered Glass Screen Protector, 0.33mm, Anti Scratch, Bubble Free

I'd give this product a 10 out of 5! Perfectly fit our SM-T378V, also known as Samsung Galaxy Tab E 32GB 8.0". Yes, one needs to be careful when applying a thin tempered glass protector on a device for at least three specific reasons: 1.] perfecting the alignment to the device's borders, buttons, and other periphery. 2.] Tempered glass doesn't like sharp bends during application, such as trying to lay the protector on the device, and pushing up part of it with a hand or other instrument. 3.] "Pushing out bubbles" with too much pressure will fracture the protector. That all being said, if one follows directions and practices patience, the application process of tempered glass is quite easy, and the result is flawless. This was the case with the Supershieldz protector. But there are other reasons you should buy this product. It ships in a container that, except for shipper abuse, virtually guarantees that you'll get an undamaged screen protector. It ships with implements of edge guides, cleaning cloth, lint collector, etc. that help you do a proper job of installation. It is highly responsive tempered glass which means that it is virtually transparent to the touch screen of your device. What more to say? It is what it claims to be and more, at a price that is very reasonable. But there is a bit more to my story. I was careful to put the protector on, trying to align it as best I could. But at the last second, it slipped away from me and out of alignment. I was horrified as I watched it bond to my device. But, I thought about it for a few seconds and decided it had to be re-positioned. The Internet information on how to do this is quite incorrect, and it's no wonder why so many people break their screen protectors. I used the tools that came with the screen protector, (the very thin sheets holding the edge guides, etc.). I slid them from one corner to the next, and around the edges, and used four of these paper pieces to get under the screen protector. Once it was lifted, I again aligned it over the tablet and gently placed it in place. This time, with the proper alignment, we watched as the screen protector seemed to bond with the device screen. There were no "bubbles" to remove, and the fit was perfect. Plus, through all this, there was no lint or dust between the device and the protector. And now, it works flawlessly and looks beautiful. This is my second Supershieldz product, (my first was used on my Kindle Fire), and for screen protection, this is the only product for me. So, yes, I have bought this brand of screen protector before, and I will do it again when we need another. GREAT product and easy on the wallet! Thanks Supershieldz!

It should be noted for those who are wondering, as i did, if this protector will work on the Tab E 8 SM 378v, 2017 model. It does perfectly. I spent way too much time on Amazon trying to find the right protector, and one that said that it will work specifically with this model. The only other one i saw for this Tab E 8, said several times that it won't work with the 2017 model, only the 2016 or something like that. And even after much searching with Google, i couldn't determine if this model i had was made in 2016 or 2017. I had to go by the date on the box, which said the software was copyright 2017. I took a gamble with this protector, and it works perfectly. Intalls easily, best ease of alignment for any glass protector I have ever used. No bubbles if you follow the directions, and make sure the area has no dust on the screen. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and it appears that the models they make for other phones and tablets are just as easy to install. In will be using this brand for all future devices from now on.

Nice and easy to apply but the edges are a bit of work to get to stick. Very clear like looking at the actual screen.

The installation tools and instructions made this the easiest screen protector install ever! I would only advise to be very careful to avoid dust. I did get 2 specks of dust trapped under the protector which created 2 bubbles and prevented it from adhering properly. Thankfully I was able to gently peel up the protector and use the dust removal sticker to pull the particles off of the underside of the screen protector. It was a harrowing process and I don't think they would recommend it, but it was successful. The protector fits perfectly on my Tab E 8.0 T377T. Touch screen works perfectly. Can't comment on how protective it would be in the event of a fall, but I will be ure to update if that happens. Very happy with the product and would definitely buy again.

This product is pretty good, but not very easy to install. The hinge method installation suggested on the Supershieldz website does not really work well here. The screen protector is almost the exact size of the tablet screen, so if your install is out of alignment by an extremely small amount, it will not seal. I had to "eyeball" it to get it to fit my tablet just right. Also, this is not very anti-fingerprint as advertised. I find I still have to use a cloth to clean the screen often.

This has provided protection for the surface of my tablet. I have already seen it in action. Accidentally dropped the tablet in a salad bowl with dressing on the salad. Got oil on the surface (and on the cover that I purchased separately); the surface cleaned off perfectly and the tablet was saved from an oily event! The biggest challenge is adhering the very thin glass to the surface of the tablet. The tablet surface must be 100% clean and clear of any lint or dirt. After I applied the glass I discovered a dot -- about the size of a comma (,) under the glass. I have not attempted to remove the blemish for fear of impacting the glass adhering cleanly to the tablet surface. The glass has not interfered with the touch screen function at all. I use a stylus most of the time and sometimes the rubber tip of the stylus leaves a clear smudge on the glass. That smudge cleans off very cleanly with very little effort. I have been using this shield for about a month and will be using it for a long time.
