Cuisinart CTG-00-BXCHP6 Vegetable and Fruit Chopper

Over the course of the last two years I have purchased three veggie choppers. During my chopper era, I learned a few things. My first chopper, the beloved Fullstar, the movie star, with all the bells & whistles. I loved it too but it lost its shine when the pieces started falling off one by one. I thought, I can fix, it, no really I can! But the last straw was when I found a spring in my pan on the stove while cooking dinner. Scary. The Oxo chopper, you’d think that one would be a winner? No, we won’t talk about that one, it didn’t even make it a fortnight. Finally came this Cuisinart from out of nowhere. Sturdy, sharp. Easy to clean. No little pieces to break off, simple design. The little scraper gets all the onion bits, tomato skin, everything clean from the pusher nibs. We finally found us a clear winner.

This vegetable chopper has been a total game-changer in my kitchen! It saves so much time and effort, especially when prepping meals with lots of veggies. No more hand strain from endless chopping—just a few quick presses, and everything is perfectly diced. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and a huge time-saver for busy weeknights. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their meal prep!

This is the one thing you didn’t know you needed until you got it! Use all the time for perfect chopping of veggies and even eggs for egg salad! Tried cooked chicken and it did chop it but stuck to top too much so won’t do that again! Easily cleans in dishwasher! Not too big and very Saturday since you have to push hard for former veggies!

I am disappointed that the hinge on the bottom portion of my Cusinart chopper broke after about six months of normal household use. We specifically chose Cuisinart because of its reputation for quality and durability even though it costs more than other available options.

Loved this and it worked great, until the plastic hinge broke. I will buy another one but not this brand or style.

This is an easy chopper to use. Uniform sizes. Easy clean up. "Cuts" time (pun intended). I use it for potatoes onions peppers

I love my chopper. I do extra veggies when I am chopping to put in the freezer. When I need some quick, I measure out. Only problem I have had, on the cover, one of the C looking part that helps it attach to the base broke off. Now I have to be careful when using so that it is not out of line and shaves some of the black teeth off of the pusher. Is it possible to get parts?

It's not magic, but it does make chopping onions and other things much easier. You get more uniform pieces, too, which helps cooking. It's not a breeze to get the onions out of the plastic grid, but it's worth the trouble. I've only had it a few months, so I don't know if it lasts, but it feels sturdy. I know the blades are really sharp so I'm careful when I handle it.

No lo recomiendo para nada. Pensé que como era de la marca Cuisinart sería muy bueno. Y he quedado decepcionada y lo que le sigue. El cuadro donde vienen las cuchillas constantemente se pega en la tapa de la picadora y hay que estarlo quitando de ahí y volviéndolo a poner en su lugar para poder seguir utilizándolo. Anteriormente había comprado uno de la marca Progressive International, me duró un año y medio, lo utilizo para preparar mis tres comidas del día, y pensé en darle una oportunidad a este y realmente me decepcionó. Así que volví a comprar la marca Progressive que no me ha decepcionado.

J'aurais dû acheter cet outil plus tôt. Les deux lames coupent facilement les oignons, pommes , etc. Le nettoyage est facile avec le peigne inclus. Le boîtier est juste de la bonne grandeur. Un produit de qualité.

this product is great for chopping hard vegetables - i.e. onions, peppers - the blades are very sharp and you only have to push down with both hands, once, and the veggie is chopped perfectly!
