These tie-downs were purchased because I did not want poor quality, unreliable ones made in China that I could purchase from a local auto-parts store for a fraction of this price. However, these are NOT made in the USA. Designed or engineered in USA, or Germany, or Italy, etc. is deceptive nonsense as the quality is rarely the same when manufacture is sublet to a country without what I call "an intrinsic culture of quality." Often the problem with Made in China is that the product is made to look fine, but the materials and/or manufacture is poor, with the inevitable failure and short life; we'll see how they perform under load.

We bought these straps to hang our longlines in our Heli Operations Trailer for Wildland firefighting and other remote jobs. They get used for all sorts of other odd jobs, but the quick look and hang makes them perfect for our needs. The straps are a perfect length for lines ranging from 50'-250'. They have met and exceeded our expectations. They get left outside, they get rained on, they get foam on them, and they get left in the scorching sun. And through all that they continue to do the job they were intended to do. Generally, alternative straps tend to breakdown in the conditions described above, and last a only a season or maybe even a year before breaking. We have had these for over a year, and they look like new, albeit a little dirty. The bright colours help find the straps if they were left out, which is a plus! Would recommend, and will buy again.

Love these! Saves scratches on your handlebars. Great for dirt bikes and motorcycles alike. Best quality I've seen, they are nice and thick and perfect width. Glad they include 2 pair, everyone wants to steal mine!
