great drag for the size fish it was designed to ...

I bought this reel as a "knockabout" to keep in the car for those fishing holes that you just happen to stumble upon when doing other things. I paired it with a Shimano Sojourn rod and that combination has become one of my favorites. VERY smooth for a two bearing reel, great drag for the size fish it was designed to catch and casts a mile with 8lb. Spiderwire. Highly recommend it for anyone who is wanting a quality reel without a big expense.
