7 Ring 3 On A Page Check Book Binder by Starbinders Business Check Binder (Yellow)

Update 6/30/16: I ordered my first binder a few months ago, and it did not live up to my expectations. As I was beyond the return date for the product, I had written my original review thinking that I would not have an option for replacement. Starbinders very promptly contacted me, apologized for the trouble I had with the first item, and immediately sent a replacement. I've not had an opportunity to use the replacement item for very long, but it seems to be durable and well suited for its purpose, which makes me think that the first one was simply defective and not representative of the actual quality of this item. I'm giving this five stars for now as the item is what I expected and the customer service from Starbinders was exceptional.Update 6/14/16: The company, after receiving my feedback, immediately contacted me and offered a replacement item, which I am awaiting. I will update this review based on the replacement item, but at the moment, Starbinders gets 5 Stars for customer service in trying to resolve this issue.I ordered this binder to hold checks for a booster club organization, so not an account that would be used frequently. I received the item in a timely fashion, placed the checks in the binder, and have barely touched it since. Prompted by email requests for seller feedback, I pulled out the binder, and having had it barely a month (but past the return date, apparently), and having actually touched it maybe once since purchase, I noted that the seam at the top of the front cover of the binder is already split. It may have been split when I received it and I just didn't notice. This is not a high-ticket item, but I would expect it to last more than a month, especially since I had barely used it. Maybe this one was defective, but if this is the quality of the materials, I can't imagine that it would stand up to frequent use. The thick cardboard covers seem sturdy enough for their purpose, but the vinyl/plastic covering them didn't last. I wish I had noticed the problem sooner so that I could have attempted to exchange it. Having missed the return date, I can't speak to the seller's customer service when working with a return/exchange request.

I recently reordered checks for my business, but the printer sent the wrong check size. Rather than go through having them reprinted, I decided to just buy a new binder to accommodate the new checks, which were longer than my usual 3-to-a-page checks. When I saw this binder here on Amazon, it was almost 1/3 of the price of similar binders offered by the printing company who printed my checks. So, it was a no-brainer to at least give this binder a try. It arrived quickly, as promised, and I am pleased with the quality of the binder - especially for the price! The color yellow was less expensive than other (more standard) colors offered, such as black, blue, etc., but I liked the yellow color anyway. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone in need of an inexpensive but functional, well-made, 7-ringed check binder.

This Check book binder was exactly what I needed for my business. Love it!

It is pretty much what I wanted. The color blue is a bright. I used to use only black. The only thing is the front cover bent in half with first use. I wish it was thicker or something to brace it.

Binder is simple, practical, very affordable, and the blue color is fine.

The folder is sturdy. The pocket is a nice feature for having pens, sticky notes, and receipts nearby. Great buy!

Bought on a great sale because the yellow color was not popular. It works great.

While this binder will serve our purpose for infrequent use, we would not have purchased this particular binder at a brick & mortor store because the vinyl cover was loose on one side and was not properly bonded at one hinge point (see photos). While we will not try to return the item, potential buyers should be aware.
