How do i sharpen after a lot of use?

The blades are replaceable. This tool cuts great. I expect that so long as I use it as it as it is designed to be used these blades will last a long time. Hope this helps.

Is this good for cutting steel duct?

"I think if you would cut with a 1/2" grinder all the way around, then use this tool to trim off the burrs, you would have a nice cut. I use this to make cuts for metal roof installations. I've not used it in steel duct. It is an excellent tool." (I am quoting my construction contractor husband.)

Will this also work with my 18v batteries?

Dewalt makes an adapter (Dewalt DCA1820) that allows you to plug their newer 20V batteries into the older style 18V tools; (but you will need the adapter and a 20V battery starter kit (like Dewalt DCB205-2CK) so you can charge the batteries) by James Perdue HVAC contractor
