Purchased this for internet access abroad when my usual internet access through SFR WiFi FON disappeared due to signal reduction. Using with a Huawei e5775 MiFi box. Using in France, the card appears to be restricting access through F SFR which is my strongest carrier signal locally, but allowing access through Orange F and F-Bouygues Telecom. Also, when using abroad Three has a 13Gb per month limit fair usage policy, after which, use of the remaining data on the card is restricted until the beginning of the next month; also topping up with 30 days of data does not circumvent this problem since this new top up data will only activate once the remaining preloaded data has been used (if using abroad, only top up with 12Gb to avoid hitting the 13Gb limit). Three's online helpline advised me to put 'cash' on the card, but my reading of the fair use policy is that this would hit the same problem and that the cash would be last in line of priority for being used; also at 1p per Mb, it works out as expensive data at £10.24 per Gb. Recommend purchasing several of these if travelling abroad for any length of time and using a lot of data and swopping out for another card when hit data limit.

Bought this in the uk. Worked straight out of the pack. Trio sim just pick what size you need as sim presses out to fit your device. This does work in a mobile phone as using it in one myself so don’t worry about pack not mentioning mobile phone use. Put it in phone got text updates then works. If you’re looking for a data only sim this will fit the bill for you. Would recommend

I bought three of these cards for use while visiting Europe over the winter. 3 only allow 12GB out of the 24 to be used abroad, so logically the second 12GB on each prepaid SIM should be available for use in the UK, right?However, of the three SIMS:1. The first will not work at all in the UK - says it's connected but no internet.2. The second worked for one hour [ONE HOUR!] before a message came up saying it had run out of credit, time to buy some more.3. The third has been working - thus far - for almost two hours. I am using it to write this review [before it also fails, as I expect it to] because Customer Service from 3 is absolutely appalling - I cannot contact any sensible human to find out what has gone wrong.To conclude; I paid almost £150 for what should have been a total of 72GB of internet access. In reality I have received only just over half what was promised. Very, very disappointing.

I use this 24gb Data SIM in my ZTE Travel Router and it works great.I activated the SIM once I had created my "My3" account (as detailed in the instructions) and popped it into router - all worked immediately with no hassle.I have used a GiffGaff (O2) SIM previously and that was trickier in that you had to set up the APN etc. That's not necessary with this '3' SIM. This one is also more economical as the data lasts for up to 24 months whereas I was topping up my GiffGaff account every 30 days. I seem to get a good signal in most locations I travel to and transfer rates are excellent.I hope to be able to try the SIM out abroad in the summer (if we can travel). Once the data allowance is used up, I will simply buy another SIM (as top ups are more expensive). In the meantime, I am very pleased.

The Unit's I had DON'T WORK as they have been already registered in 1997 to a company or person THREE Sales informed me !What Total Frustration trying to find out why THREE Kept on cutting my connection OFFMY waste of time 4 days on the phone, trying to tell ME its Breach of 6.4 & 6.8 when the units have already been pre-registered by a company or person in 1997 ! when I contact the SALES TEAM at THREE !, they then informed ME I was fuming !SO MY answer would be to Stay away from this purchase,I have written a Honest review IF this is taken down which I am taking a photo of this review then its to hide the truth from the consumer, & Only to support the Seller !
