Hard to find, old school multi-use glue.
Good old Duco Cement. A great universal glue. Works great on a multitude of surfaces.

My glue of choice to make wood putty since 1982
I've been using this brand of glue since 1982 on woodworking projects. I mix the glue with fine sawdust to make wood putty and fill holes or flaws in my projects. It takes the stain just like wood does and it stays in place. I have a grandfather clock that I built in 1982 and I have not needed to replace any of the putty in the wood flaws. You don't have a lot of time to spare when mixing it with sawdust, but you have enough time to mix small amounts and to get the putty in holes or flaws. If I want thinner putty with a longer set time and to be able to force it into smaller cracks, I simply use more Duco mixed with the sawdust.

Just what I needed.
I have been looking locally to purchase this item prior to using amazon. I had a broken ceramic statue that needed repair. I needed a cement that allowed some time to adjust the parts into position. I had many super products that afforded instant set-up which is not what I wanted. I'm very satisfied with this.
