Very Dark Roast - Nicely Packaged . . . Just wish they'd add a "roast date" to the packaging.
This is a nice, pre-roasted coffee. It says dark roast, and it really is. I'd have to say it's a bit too dark for my personal taste, but that's not a complaint, just an observation. I was surprised that there wasn't a nice strong fresh coffee smell when I first opened the bag . . . the beans were very oily, but that comes from such a dark roast, generally. They say if you want to taste the region the coffee is from, do a medium roast, if you want to taste the roast, go dark. But, as dark roasts go - this has a nice flavor - with just a hint of acidity at the end, which frankly surprised me. As a home coffee roaster I find that the more acidic taste diminishes with the darker roast - this was a pleasant surprise for me . . . I like that feature in a coffee. This seems to be a fairly fresh roast - but, this is the only reason I'm not giving this coffee a full 5-star rating . . . I really do want to know when my coffee was roasted - and, adding the roast date to the bag would make me much happier. The packaging is beautiful - and it came nicely vacuum packed. If you're going to give someone coffee as a gift, this would be a nice gift to give.This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. I am a tough sale on pre-roasted coffee . . . I don't often like them nearly as much as my home roasted beans - but, this one really does pass the taste quality test for me! Nicely done!

Very classy presentation, and damn good coffee. If you are a discerning consumer who appreciates premium quality products, you are going to love this stuff. I also like to support companies that have a big Mission, and the owner's mission, and story, is very inspiring.. Great aroma, great taste, and NOT just for women!

I absolutely love this coffee
I absolutely love this coffee, and have been having a hard time drinking anything different since I discovered Stiletto Coffee! First off, my coffee beans came to me like a gift in a gorgeous black satin gift bag that I plan on reusing. My experience only went up from there. Delicious smelling and shiny beans, and the rich, bold, smooth taste is to die for. I've also started following along on their blog and Instagram page, and love that this coffee company was created to empower and inspire women. Way to go, Stiletto Coffee! I'm a big fan.

Pleased with my purchase. Received as described. Sealed foil bag, with fresh button.12oz, Stiletto, Elevation whole bean coffee. WoWzerS! Ladies, this will put some hair on your chest. Has a strong smokey aroma the moment you open the bag. Got a little stronger while grinding, brewing filled the whole house. The beans are very dark. If you are not used to an espresso type coffee taste I suggest not diving in head first & using the *normal* amount of ground beans. Use less product to start & go from there. Grinding was a breeze. I've not noticed it to have an acidic taste, pretty smooth for being so dark. Very rich & smokey. I drink coffee on & off throughout the day. I'm starting to think maybe testing it out at 6PM may have been a bad idea, 1 cup & I can already feel it is giving me quite the giddy up in my go. Good quality coffee beans. Also noticed while reading the bag, Stiletto gives back & how many people can say their coffee thinks *You're Awesome!* Love it. If you are looking for a dark, strong, smokey whole coffee bean definatly give this a try. I received this product at a discount for my honest review. I did not receive monetary gain.
