Fantastic Personal Music Player -- Best Sound, Most Memory
There are already a number of quite technical reviews on here, so I won't bother to recreate anything like them. Suffice to say, this thing is a worthy successor to the Cowon J3 in the music player dept. (If that doesn't mean anything to you, just skip to the next paragraph.) It does not do anything else (play movies, games, etc.), though--so it's really not just "the new J3," because if it were, it would actually do more than it does. What it does do, it does better than the J3 in that it has the ability to hold 8,000 more songs. What it pumps out is capable of being louder than my old J3. It is not as customizable at this point; I couldn't find any custom UI's worth much, and you can't put up your own background, etc. The awesome, custom UI's of the J3 days seem to be over. Honestly, you won't miss what is missing, though, if your primary use for the J3 (or an S9 or whatever other old, awesome Cowon PMP you are/were using) was to play a dren-load of music everywhere you go with maximum fidelity (for less than a grand). So, for those out there who aren't already Cowon fans who might be perusing this item and wondering if this is a good purchase, here's what this is: It's a personal music player that most folks would call "an mp3 player." However, it plays pretty much any music file type you want, not just mp3's. And, it sounds ridiculously fantastic. Multiple and customizable EQs, etc. At this price point, you could possibly match it but not beat it for sound quality. The main thing that makes this player so great, though, is that not only does it sound phenomenal, it can hold a tremendous amount of music on it. You can get it with up to 32G onboard, but you can expand it with up to a 128G microSD card--so you end up with roughly 150G of available memory for your files. Up to 24,000 files (yes, there is a file limit). You just can't walk into a Best Buy, Target, Walmart, or anywhere else and purchase an mp3 player with that much memory. If your digital music collection isn't that big, then you can put the whole thing on here as FLACs or WAVs or whatever you want without worrying about memory. And, it's just a drag-and-drop file system you can handle right on your computer with no proprietary software needed at all. However, I have found Cowon's JetAudio software to be quite handy for ripping CDs and/or converting them to whatever file type you need. (Mostly, I go with compressed Ogg Vorbis files so I can hit that 24,000-song mark and not run out of memory, but, you can go with whatever you want--mp3s are what most people run with these days, it seems, but if you want a truly lossless audio format, you can go FLAC or whatever. No, it cannot handle Apple's AACs, though, so if you went that route already, you will have to convert them to something else for use on here.) This thing can handle 24-bit "high resolution" music files, if you have any of those, too. If you're just ripping your old AC/DC CDs, you don't need that feature, but it's there.Small, compact, sturdy, simple, relatively cheap, easy to use, and fantastic sound quality. What more could you want from a "personal music" or "mp3 player?"

Just brilliant
Just the perfect MP3 player for people who actively and intensively listen to their music.First off - and most important for me, is the marathon battery life, micro-USB port (hello Sony? Apple?), 32Gb+ storage and easy to use interface. The form factor is also a big plus: very attractive and refreshing by today's standard (but rather boring looking back at the 20004-2009 era).I'm not a self proclaimed audiophile but this device is clearly more able to produce better sounds than my phone. Instruments are more pronounced and can be heard apart from each-other - even in not-that-high-quality files. The different audio profiles are also very useful, and changing between them is a wizz. All in all the perfect portable audio playing device for me, although the price tag seems rather high considering that I bought pretty much the same MP3 player back in 2007 for the same price. Guessed prices would've gone down, wouldn't we?

MP3 player consigliato
Consegna puntuale
