This stuff is the truth!
This Cobbler's Glue has made a believer out of me. I have an old pair of basketball shoes that haven't fully (ahem...) lost all their grip, and they cost me a GRIP (no pun intended! LOL!) years ago, but they were starting to develop mouths at the front and surrounding areas... meaning the outsole was separated from the actual shoe itself. It wasn't terrible, but if left unchecked, it would get worse. I read the reviews and looked at a few pictures, then decided to purchase this glue.It came in, and I used it a few days afterwards. Based on the scent of it, I can only assume it's glorified super glue, which is fine. It doesn't come in a tin-foil, ragged, soon-to-dry-out parcel like super glue does, and there's quite a bit of the stuff in that plastic bottle. Recommended to keep it in a cool, dry area, and it states refrigeration extends shelf life. Interesting. With regard to the shoe, there wasn't much to scrape off from the area to be treated, or anything to blow out, clean up, etc. Be mindful that prep is super important. I do not recommend applying this product to any area/surface that hasn't been adequately prepped. I had to use a pair of scissors to clip the tip of the bottle open; not stated anywhere on the bottle, as far as I could tell. A pin to the tip may have also done the trick, but I've been there and done that with another product, and needless to say, it didn't last long. However, a pin may come in handy if glue accumulates and dries at the top.Application: It truly did hold on the the areas applied within 10 seconds and I kept the areas mashed tightly together for a longer period, which I believe helped things bond better. A little bit of residue came about on one of the shoes because I didn't wipe it off fast enough, but that's fine. No harm, no foul.Truly no cons... only pros.Pros:1). The elongated design of the bottle tip... may make the glue difficult to accumulate and dry at the very top. Even if it does, one could cut that portion and keep using.2). Dispenses a small amount at a time (depending on where you cut it open), so more pressure applied=more product dispensed.3). Fairly inexpensive... if you consider how much you'd pay for Gorilla Glue or Super Glue.4). Love the bottle cap. It snaps in place to let you know it's been set in correctly. Possibly delays oxidation as well. Kudos for that.5). Dries very fast! Ask my fingers. =/Two weeks passed since I applied the glue; I'm sure that's more than enough time for curing to take place. I used the shoes for the first time yesterday, and they worked out just fine. Only time will tell if they'll separate again. If they do, I'll apply more glue. Hey! That rhymes! LOL! I found another portion that needed to be treated on the side, and I did so right before playing ball yesterday morning... 10 seconds and it stuck! Didn't separate while I was out there, either. This stuff is the truth! 5 Stars.I hope this helps you in making your purchase. It's a simple bottle of glue, but it's something that is not free, and people deserve to know if it's worth the purchase or not. Also, I take these reviews seriously for you and myself. If I'm satisfied with it, then you'll know. Thanks for stopping by. Take care and enjoy your day! (=Z.

Sets fast
Really works. I was surprised how fast it sets up.

a bargain
This glue has more than paid for itself with several shoes I have repaired. It's better than another popular brand I had been using because it stays together no matter how much flexing of the shoes I do.

wear gloves, sticks to skin well- like super glue.
It is a liquid, not a gel, so run-off is an issue. Seems to bond well to vinyl/neoprene and work boot sole glued back has lasted for the several times used since. A handy glue. Weeks later, still bonded and no sign of splitting. Good glue. It is now April 24, 2024- kept glue in refer, used it yesterday, good as new- works great as usual, the BEST shoe glue ever- can't go wrong, been using a boot for months that I glued, still bonded. THIS is THE GLUE!

Bottle half empty
I have not tried it but the bottle arrived as if it had been previously used. Half empty and open. Not returning it, at this point i just need a small portion but was disappointed.

The best cobbler glue I have ever used.
I have repaired four pairs of shoes with this. Once glued, they have never come undone. This is an exceptional product. I am now buying bottles for family members.

Amazing!
works amazing!! Ive been using regular super glue to fix little separation issues on my kids shoes and it never worked. I got this and let me tell you, it works!! I have 3 boys, so we go through shoes! They are very hard on their shoes, so lifting does happen over time. Ive used this on a few shoes and haven’t had any lifting issues again! Would highly recommend

Super adhesive
You don't often need cobbler's glue but when you do, you want a great product. I used this glue to affix heel protective tabs on some expensive boots. Better to wear down protectors than heels on footwear. This did a great job. Easy to dispense, quick drying, super strong and bonds almost anything. Great for shoe repair needs.
