Headstone Cleaning Spray 500 ml (2)

I used this product to clean a very blackened gravestone (a stone which had never been cleaned, after being in place for 10+ years). As you can see from the before and after photos, it was really effective in making a huge difference. One of the staff members at the graveyard who saw me working on it even stopped to tell me what a good job I’d done. What you see on the photos is the result of 1hr (applying/ scrubbing it a bit/ leaving it a bit and repeating three times) and one full bottle of spray. It has a slight smell to it but no problem at all - even though I have asthma - as using it outside Tips: (1) Buy it…I was really pleased I did as it worked so well and although I’d hesitated as it seems quite a bit for a spray, it’s actually great value (I discovered the graveyard I was at charge £70 to clean a stone); (2) Be prepared to scrub a little and to be patient, especially if you’ve never cleaned the stone before or have left it for many years… at first I couldn’t see it working but I gradually saw it change from black to brown to its original white!; (3) Put petroleum jelly on any letters that you think might get spray or run-off on them to (this stopped any effect on the lettering).

It cleaned extremely well

As someone who spent large portion of my life specialist cleaning I can say that this is one of the better DIY products for such things as marble grave stones. Use with scoured and wire brushes.Howevever please remember this product can be dangerous if spilt on clothing or in the eye.

Have used this HG product before and never had problems. Order two this time, took one with me on a grave side cleaning and tidy up BUT had to tip cleaner over areas, as spray trigger refused to work. In doing so l used up a whole bottle!On the plus side the headstone and surrounds are cleanFollow up - Checked bottle spray trigger - hairline cracks all over the trigger body, checked unused bottle - same result but with a slight split as well. Obviously did not travel well!!

I used this product on my grandparents grave which was as bad as the one next to it. The difference is massive and obvious. The product is highly recommended.

This headstone cleaner works very well. It takes repeated applications to remove engrained dirt but that is only to be expected.

Nothing just what I wanted

This product works as described, spray on leave for 25 mins and then scrub and wash off and the results are brilliant
