THIS QUALITY CUE BALL BY ARAMITH ISN'T A MYTH!!!
I had been using a generic pool cue ball that looked like it suffered from red chicken pox. I suppose the red dots are intended to indicate the speed and direction of spin, but to me, it just looked sick and amateurish. By contrast, this hefty vitrified Aramith Super Pro cue ball is a lighter shade of white and has only the small logo. The ball is glossier, livelier, and overall looks, feels, and SOUNDS like a cue ball of superior quality. In my little studio/pool room, the CRISP CLACK IS BACK!... and the sound is profound :)

Use ability
It was not as good as I expected, being an Aramith ball. However, it is still superior to cue ball that is provided with the object balls.

This ball will last almost forever if it like the other one I have.
Aramith is the standard in professional and home pool. I gave this a 5 star rating because it is a wonderful cue ball. There is an issue with it in that it is slightly larger than my other pool balls (and my other cue balls). I suspect if is made this was for coin operated tables. It hasn't bothered me in play, but I do notice it.
