At last, the evil cretin is confronted. A gun is drawn, assuring that this nightmare in unholy experimentation will end. But wait -- the deranged doctor who would be captive has one more trick up his sleeve...FA-WOOSH! From high above, a consuming shower of concentrated acid drops without warning. Below, the victim's flesh melts away, quickly and completely. A bloodcurdling scream echoes through the dungeon but there is nobody to hear it -- except for the devious Dr. Deadly. The scream fades, leaving just another skeleton for the doctor's collection. Yet, as he hoists it up to join the other remnants of would-be captors, there's something different about this newest skeleton. There's a strange glow deep within its hollow eye sockets...This one isn't quite dead yet and it has a score to settle with Dr. Deadly!

Glowing Skeleton: Not Thin On Enjoyment!
If you love old horror films like Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, etal, and enjoy assembling and detailing models this is a kit you'll want. The box art, mini comic book/instructions, and small frameable poster are great extras you'll want to save. There are other fun kits by Dencom you may want as well, such as The Sabre Toothed Rabbit! The seller is a gem! Thanks, Dennis!

Great kit but the Pain Parlor might be a better buy for some modelrs.
After working and building these new kits, I've got a new appreciation for them! The 1/13 scale is actually an excellent scale. It provides a good size for detail work but is not so big as to take up lots of shelf space. I bought the Skeleton along with the , the feral cat and the saber tooth rabbit all at the same time. As with many modelers, they sat in the box for some time before I finally got around to building them. ( Dr. Deadlys Monster Scenes Feral Cat 1/13 Dencomm & Dr. Deadlys Monster Scenes Saber Tooth Rabbit 1/13 Dencomm ).The Skeleton is essentially the same one found in the Pain Parlor. ( Moebius Models Pain Parlor MOE635 ). The kit is molded in glow in the dark plastic which, for some, is a big deal. What makes this skeleton different from the pain parlor is the three different faces that can be used on the skeleton. As this skeleton is only slightly cheaper than the entire Pain Parlor, unless you're interested in the new faces, the Pain Parlor might be your better buy. However, the three faces are pretty cool. One is the same as the pain parlor skeleton but the other two are much different, with new brow jaw lines that bring new personalities to the skeleton. If you're a big fan of the Monster Scene kits and you want lots of skeletons with different faces, then this might be what you're looking for. For some people, this may be a steep price but it is about the going price for figures in this scale. They don't make models as cheap as they used to, I guess.
